What Rand is doing - namely, working to further publicly expose and denounce Fauci (and by implication, the system that enabled him) for the corrupt and lying fraud that he (and it) is - absolutely does matter. It matters a lot.
If there's anything that "doesn't matter" here, it's whether or not Fauci himself will ever literally end up "set[ting] one foot in prison". It's far more important that he (and the system that enabled him) be disgraced and regarded with contempt, and as widely as possible. Rand is putting in real and valuable work in that regard (instead of uselessly pissing and moaning about how pointless it all is because "that's just the way the world works"). Good for him!
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Rand Paul again.
And if fantasies about Fauci ending up in prison do somehow come true - well, then, so much the better!
But if they don't, then that just further exposes the corrupt and worthless system as what it really is, for all to see who are willing to look.
