    Taking things from white people

This is an excerpt from a opinion piece written by Michael Harriot published 11 July 2023 and titled:

    Take things from white people

In the piece he goes on to say how, because of white supremacy and violent white people maiming and killing decent black folks, there is no choice to but to take everything from white people:

The anti-Black imagination has created a horrific version of Black people that necessitates the taking of things. America’s lynching epidemic was caused by the unreal fear that extrajudicial murder was the only preventative measure white people had against the violent rapists and murderers that they imagined us to be. Segregationists argued that integration would lead to race-mixing and thwart the progress of the superior white intellect. Suppressive voter laws are the result of negroes who cast multiple ballots, vote for dead people and harvest voter registrations to dump into drop boxes. Black-on-white race massacres, the decline of the white IQ and widespread voter fraud are not real. However, the legislation, rules and insurrections that resulted from this fictional version of Black people are real.

“To study white supremacists is to examine a collection of broken people who see their own hardships and traumas as evidence that they are the world’s victims,” Lowery writes. “The movement convinces its followers that their failures and flaws are not the result of their choices or an unlucky spin in the roulette of circumstance, but rather due to a global racial conspiracy far beyond their control.” White people truly believe dead people voted and Black people can get into college because of the color of their skin. It is impossible to convince the average white person that they benefitted from slavery. Even liberal white people believe that America has a class problem and not a race problem. Most believe they don’t have a racist bone in their body. All the facts, history and data will never be able to change their minds. Even trying is a useless pursuit.

We cannot take that away from them.

But, whether they believe it or not, there is a quantifiable, measurable value to whiteness and its accompanying privilege. It is tangible and it is all around us. It cannot be dismantled using preventative measures. Pretending race and racism aren’t real is the most effective way to ensure their continued existence.

Whiteness is a storm that is always brewing. The tidal waves cannot be stopped by plugging our fingers into the walls we have built to protect our rights and our lives. It will always find a way to breach our defenses. And yes, it is as real as the wind. We will never be able to take away their whiteness.

But we can take their lash.
Lets examine some of these claims:

    Black-on-white race massacres
Most violent crime is intra-racial, meaning the same ethnicity is the victim and perpetrator.

But of the crime that IS inter-racial, blacks overwhelmingly commit more violent crime against whites than whites commit against blacks.

OPINION: Perhaps the best way to counter the opposition to affirmative action, reparations and every Black movement for justice and equality is to culturally appropriate America’s tradition of state-sponsored strong-arming.

Editor’s note: The following article is an op-ed, and the views expressed are the author’s own. Read more opinions on theGrio.

What is the opposite of backlash?

On Friday, Tulsa County Oklahoma District Court judge Caroline Wall dismissed the lawsuit filed by survivors of the Tulsa Race Massacre seeking compensatory justice for the 1921 destruction of the once-thriving Black business district known as Greenwood. The dismissal follows the Supreme Court decision that effectively erased race-based considerations in college admissions. Over the last five years, the long game of white supremacy has stymied police reform, thwarted student debt relief, criminalized Black history, ousted Black educators attempting to equalize education and made it harder for Black people to cast ballots.

Perhaps nothing is as reliable as the metronomic predictability of white people’s reaction to even the prospect of racial progress. However, a careful examination of America’s past shows us that “backlash” is an ineffective descriptor for the racial hostility defined by these setbacks. The slash-and-burn racial animus that gave us separate but equal, Jim Crow, countless massacres, unequal schools and disenfranchisement laws is not a reaction to anything that Black people achieved.

Most white Americans (57%) disapprove of selective colleges considering race and ethnicity in affirmative action. Eighty percent of whites do not support reparations for the descendants of enslaved people, compared to 77% of Black Americans — most of whom descended from enslaved people — who approve. The vast majority of Black, Hispanic and Asian Americans feel more needs to be done to ensure equal rights for all; only 42% of whites agree. In fact, most whites (62%) think our country has done enough or too much to give Black people equal rights. Perhaps it is a “frontlash.” Maybe “prelash” is a better word. “Forwardlash” sounds too benevolent. In any case, these pro-white victories are simply byproducts of the constant, unchanging stream anti-Black sentiment that periodically pierces the wall of Black defenses. And while Black America is furiously defending itself, the white reaction is always the same:

White people come to take things.

    Defense vs. Offense
Every movement for Black liberation and equality was about defending ourselves. When Black Americans unchained themselves from the bonds of race-based slavery, our quest for full citizenship was a measure to defend our humanity. The anti-lynching movement was a defense of our lives. The Civil Rights Movement was a defense of our constitutionally guaranteed human rights. Voting rights protect our participation in democracy. Affirmative action simply prevents further disparities in education and employment.

The survivors of the Tulsa Race Massacre were not trying to punish the people of Tulsa, nor were they asking for a handout. They paid taxes to be protected by a law enforcement and justice system that, instead robbed them of their homes, loved ones and livelihoods. The descendants of the enslaved are simply seeking a return on the investment their ancestors contributed to America’s wealth fund. One of the reasons Black students have higher student debt is that banks charge Black students higher interest rates than similarly situated white students.

We play defense because America takes our things.

After the Civil War, whites responded to emancipation with a campaign of racial terrorism and murder that possibly killed more Black people than slavecatchers. We wanted to be free, they wanted our lives. Nonviolent resistance during the civil rights era resulted in beatings, church bombings and resentment even in the liberal North. They didn’t oppose our quest for equality, they opposed us. When Black voters elected Black politicians during Reconstruction, whites didn’t just want to take our voting rights, they killed the people we elected. They were not protecting their power; they wanted to take ours. Black financial gains weren’t met with “economic anxiety,” it was bombed and burned from existence. Segregationists didn’t create massive resistance, segregation academies and decimate the population of Black teachers because they wanted whites-only schools. They spat on our children and bombed them in churches because they wanted Black taxpayers to continue funding their children’s educational advantages. The conservatives who believe affirmative action is anti-white also want to end the Department of Education. Perhaps, instead of defending our rights and fighting for white people to treat us as equals, we should culturally appropriate their proven strategy.

We should take things from white people.

Affirmative action is not what prevents Asians from attending elite unities like Harvard. According to a 2019 study, 43% of white students at Harvard gained admission because they were a legacy, related to a donor, a child of a Harvard employee or an athlete, populations which are overwhelmingly white. When asked, the researchers noted that eliminating these white privilege loopholes would increase the number of African-American, Asian-American and Hispanic students but the white acceptant rate would decrease.

    We should take that.

The University of North Carolina, also a plaintiff in the Supreme Court cases that upended affirmative action, is about 8% Black, while the state is 22% Black. Because of the Supreme Court ruling, UNC can no longer consider race as a factor in its admission standards, but it is still free to admit legacies who make up about 17% of the student body. UNC is a state school. Why should African-American taxpayers fund an educational institution that disproportionately excludes them?

Someone should take that from white people.

One of the arguments against Black reparations is that it would cost too much. However, the $10 to $12 trillion in federal expenditures that the leading scholars estimate pales in comparison to the principal and compounding interest on the stolen labor that created the racial wealth gap. It certainly wouldn’t cost white people $800,000 — the difference in the wealth of the average white household compared to a Black household.

    We should take that, too.

We should remove their slaveholding heroes from social studies lessons that make Black children feel uncomfortable. We should eliminate job recommendations, unpaid internships and other policies that promote anti-diversity, inequities and exclusion. We should ban white Santas and Christmas songs and pro-police rallies and violent national anthems and cisgender bathrooms and books about heterosexual relationships.

We should not take things from white people out of anger, payback or retribution. It is impossible to recover the blood spilled by white anger and the land stolen by their thievery. But it is an injustice to pretend that not considering race can fix a problem that is real. Justice demands an equal response to the infraction committed. This is just the most logical approach to the history of proactive anti-Blackness.

Thankfully, journalist Wesley Lowery has given us a phrase to describe this undefined phenomenon.

    The Whitest Lash
In his new book, “American Whitelash,” the Pulitzer Prize winner examines how the election of Barack Obama “led us down a perilous path and into a decade and a half (and counting) of explicit racial thrashing.” According to Lowery, the combination of white grievances and a long-simmering nativist movement manifested itself in a new era of proactive bigotry.

It is fitting that Lowery chose not to portray this new era of racial resentment as a boomerang effect that emerged in the wake of racial progress. While Obama’s election was remarkable in the context of America’s racist history, it was not a sign of a national leap forward in race relations. The president who preceded him was a mediocre white man endowed with all of the privileges that whiteness can afford. Obama’s immediate successor was a mediocre white man endowed with all of the privileges that whiteness afforded him. Obama was a mere historical anomaly.

Lowery opens his book with a defense of why he decided not to capitalize the two most common racial categories that were concocted, in part, to justify the theft, trafficking and commodification of African labor. “It is currently popular to capitalize the b in black, in acknowledgment of and in reverence for the history, experience, and culture of black Americans,” Lowery writes. “But at this moment in our history — amid pervasive racial violence and destructive white grievance — I fear capitalization provides fodder for those who preach race as a biological reality, as opposed to a societal construction. While racism is deadly real, race itself is a fiction.”

For years, I taught a class called “Race as an Economic Construct.” On the first day of class, I would place a $5 bill and a $100 Monopoly bill at the entrance to the classroom. Inevitably, the first student through the door would pick up the legal tender. The most principled students would ask if anyone dropped a fiver, while no one ever sought out the owner of the Monopoly money. I would use that example to explain that, while social constructs are collectively accepted principles, they are indeed real. U.S. currency is real and it is a social construct. Its worth is based on a collectively agreed valuation; it isn’t backed by gold. In fact, the value of gold is a social construct. It has value because we collectively agree that it does.

    Whiteness is real.

The poorest white school districts are better-funded than the wealthiest majority Black districts. Black children. A house in a Black neighborhood is worth $48,000 less than the exact same home in a white neighborhood with similar crime rates, resources and income earners. A poor white child has as much economic opportunity as a Black child raised by wealthy parents. Whiteness is not the only factor that determines one’s future, but whiteness is a more accurate predictor of economic mobility and future success than two-parent homes, education or even parental wealth. In America, whiteness is more valuable than gold or paper plastered with portraits of dead presidents. Those born with it can use it to purchase privileges that are unavailable to those who didn’t inherit America’s most enduring legal tender. It is backed by banking systems and accepted as a form of currency during police stops, real estate transactions and job interviews.

    Black people are not real.

Although Black is a color on the light spectrum and a real racial category, Black people are just a figment of white people’s imagination. Blackness is mutable and transferable. Having ancestors from Africa or possessing one-sixteenth of “negro blood” makes a person legally Black unless, of course; they founded a civilization or were pretty or could hit a ball with a stick or became president.

Ok , here is the deal. When you take things from producers and give it to non producers it will the majority of the time end in waste. This in itself makes the act tiresome and pointless. Why cant these retard commies find more entertaining ideas ? I deserve better. Come on man.

@Anti Federalist, while I disagree with the reaction, can you not understand the frustration?

    https://thegrio.com/2023/07/09/judge...t-reparations/

An Oklahoma judge has thrown out a lawsuit seeking reparations for the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, dashing an effort to obtain some measure of legal justice by survivors of the deadly racist rampage.

Judge Caroline Wall on Friday dismissed with prejudice the lawsuit trying to force the city and others to make recompense for the destruction of the once-thriving Black district known as Greenwood.

The order comes in a case by three survivors of the attack, who are all now over 100 years old and sued in 2020 with the hope of seeing what their attorney called “justice in their lifetime.”

I keep hearing the argument "Nobody asking for reparations was alive when slavery happened." Okay. (Actually when the idea was first brought up there were still some former slaves alive). But in this case the victims are still (for a few years anyway) alive. I get the ruling. The statute of limitations ran out. But it ran out at a time where there was justified fear about bringing up a lawsuit. We live in a country that paid reparations to Ford and GM to as a reward for them committing treason against the U.S. by supporting Hitler and the Nazis. (Full circle...we're supporting Nazis again to the tune of tens of billions).

Do I have an answer to our problems? Nope. Certainly the person you're quoting doesn't. But to pretend that the continued screwing of an entire group of people doesn't cause long term problems...and to pretend that we can't come up with any actual solutions cause...reasons, does nobody any good. That said, there are solutions that people of good will can find common ground on.

the violent rapists and murderers that they imagined us to be
One of the poorest communities in the country with the highest white majority is Beattyville KY, at 98.2 percent.

The homicide rate per 100,000 is zero. There has not been a homicide in Beattyville since before 2007.

The overall crime rate is 52 per 100k. That is 4.9 times lower than the national average.

Beattyville public schools are part of the Lee County Consolidated School District.

The student body is 98 percent white. 79 percent are from "low income" families. Spending per pupil is $9,958 per year.

All schools in Lee County are rated "Below Average" when compared to the rest of the state.

The graduation rate is 86 percent, state average is 90 percent.

The average ACT score is 17, state average is 18.

One of the poorest communities in the country with a high black majority population is Camp Hill AL, at 86 percent.

The overall crime rate is 352 which is 1.3 time greater than the national average.

There have been 4 murders in the town since 2009.

On school spending this piece claims:

One surprising finding in the school-level spending numbers was that spending is actually higher in schools with higher levels of poverty, generally speaking, even after federal dollars---which are typically higher at schools with more students in poverty---are removed.

Spending per pupil is similar to Beattyville at $9435 combined through the Tallapoosa Co. school system.

Test scores, graduation rates and college attendance are similar, but hard to break down as Camp Hill is part of a county wide system

Seriously? That's your argument? You know that Beattyville has a population of 2,054 right? That's smaller than a lot of high schools dude! There are black towns with populations that small that have zero crime as well. You want to cherry pick? Mason Tennessee has a crime rate that's 83% lower than the national average. Only 6 total crimes reported crimes in 2021, zero murders, zero rapes, only 1 assault, 4 thefts. and 1 burglary. But it also only has a population of 1,021 people.

    https://www.areavibes.com/mason-tn/crime/

If you live far enough away from population centers, crime is low. There is a video you should watch "Why there was no German mafia." The punchline? Beause the Germans when they came to America didn't settle in what were then already densly populated centralized cities. But crime rates among, for example Irish famine immgrants were astonishingly high.

    See: https://www.thejournal.ie/irish-unit...04406-Mar2015/

So if you want to compare apples to apples, that's what you should look at. Why didn't the Irish remain in the poor and crime ridden underclass? The CATO institute did an analysis of FDR's "new deal" which for blacks was a raw deal.

David Ferguson explained: “By encouraging unionization, the Wagner Act raised the number of insiders (those with jobs) who had the incentive and ability to exclude outsiders (those without jobs). Once high wages have been negotiated, employers are less likely to hire outsiders, and thus the insiders could protect their own interest.”

By giving labor unions the monopoly power to exclusively represent employees in a workplace, the Wagner Act had the effect of excluding blacks, since the dominant unions discriminated against blacks. The Wagner Act had originally been drafted with a provision prohibiting racial discrimination. But the American Federation of Labor successfully lobbied against it, and it was dropped. AFL unions used their new power, granted by the Wagner Act, to exclude blacks on a large scale. Booker T. Washington, W.E.B. DuBois, and Marcus Garvey were all critical of compulsory unionism.

Hmmm....who controlled the unions that discriminated against blacks? Why the mafia did of course! So European crimiminal immigrants were able to keep blacks, who had moved from the south to escape discrimination, from getting lucrative jobs. And these criminal European immigrants were aided and abeded by the federal government.

My mom, may she rest in Jesus, had a saying. "Don't pee on me and tell me it's raining." People posting crime or education statistics without context are doing just that. Fixing community wide criminal problems where they exist is not a hard thing. It just requires people to have good will as opposed to bvllshyt. I've posted about this before about how Harris Rosen used his millions to completely turn around a Florida town. It bears repeating.

    https://www.today.com/news/millionai...town-1c9373666

The graduation rate went from 25 percent to over 95 percent. Crime dropped by 50 percent. The demographics of the town didn't change. It was and still is overwhelmingly black. The town wasn't fixed by hiring new police or building new prisons. The town was fixed by applying the correct financial incentives. It's cool that Beattyville Kentucky, out in a backwater in a boondock state, naturally has low crime just like majority black Mason Tennessee in a much more urban state has low crime. (Beattyville KY has a higher crime rate than the state of Kentucky as a whole. Mason Tennessee has a lower crime rate than the state of Tennessee.) But that does nothing to actually solve problems.

Only 6 total crimes reported crimes in 2021, zero murders, zero rapes, only 1 assault, 4 thefts. and 1 burglary. But it also only has a population of 1,021 people.
I deliberately chose Camp Hill Alabama. It has a population 1014. Half of Beattyville.

Both towns are southern, poverty stricken by loss of industry due to globalism, with similar spending on education, both suffered at the hands of corrupt authority roughly 100 years ago, both have similar age distributions.

Yet one has a violent crime rate 4.9 times lower than the national average.

The other has a violent crime rate 1.3 times higher than the national average.

The only significant difference between the two towns is the ethnic makeup of its citizens.

The same assistance that FDR gave to white communities should have been, and should be, given everywhere. It's not about crimes committed by your ancestors or anybody else's ancestors. You want to bitch about crime in black commuunities? (And when you compare the best black small towns to the white small town you listed, the crime rates are comparible)? What is your solution to do something about it? Bitch about it? Build a wall to keep more brown people out whilee letting 100K Ukrainians in? (I know...I know...you don't support the Ukrainians either. But you did post a sympathetic thread about some local Ukrainian immigrants. I'm not mad about that. I sympathize with them too. We should quit destabilizing every country. Ukraine. Haiti. Venezuela. Honduras. Syria. Afghanistan. Iraq. Iran. The list of places we screw up is too long to list).

And while were at it, I'm all for making changes that help whte people too. Meth is killing rural whites. So is opioid addiction which disproportionatlly affects white people. Ironically the racial bias which causes white doctors to be less likely to prescribe pain medicine to black people might be protecting black people from big pharma poison. When you look at mass school shooters, 95% of them are white males. (The Nashville trans shooter I put in the female category despite her self identification). Yeah, I know, when you include gang on gang violence at trap parties, you get a lot more black mass shooters. But what causes a group of mostly white males to randomly shoot up a school? Desire for fame seems to be part of it. But likely the SSRI drugs play a major role. Again, whites are more likely than blacks to be prescribed those drugs and the violent effect is mostly on males. (The Nashville trans shooter was on those drugs and she was taking testosterone....so for the sake of this discussion maybe I should put her in the white male category). Anyhow, those are the facts as I see them. We have multiple problems in both our communities that currently are not being properly addressed while we're sending tens of billions of dollars to neo Nazi linked militias in Ukraine in a war that's been complicated by U.S. bioweapons labs having been in tht country prior to the invasion.

I welcome hearing whatever disagreement you have with ^that rant.

I'm not really sure about this bifurcation of "communities". I grew up in a poor urban black community - was I not a member because of my skin color? I had more in common with them than I (or they) did with the country club set of any color. The police certainly treated me like I was in that community.

So, it makes no sense to separate by skin color - the idea of C-Suite blacks getting reparations of any sort is just insane. So what about class reparations?? After all, the government makes it extremely hard for poor people to escape poverty. Although, millions of us have done it, so... Maybe we go city block by city block?? Even then, you'd get people whose families used to have money until one of them got disowned for their bad decisions and then started procreating... Doesn't seem to make sense there, either.

Sorry, JM. I think we really just need to end the policies that prevent upward mobility. Trying to repair the harm of what some people did to other people by harming other people and helping still other people is just something politicians (and "community organizers") dream up to drive wedges.

I'm not either. I'm here south of the Mason-Dixon and I've never lived in a neighborhood in my life that wasn't mixed race. I know my city well, from the worst to the best, and can't name a neighborhood that isn't mixed race.

Scott Adams is right...this cannot be fixed.

Malcom X was right...separation is the only way.

    MALCOLM X, “RACIAL SEPARATION”

    https://www.blackpast.org/african-am...al-separation/

On October 11, 1963, Malcolm X gave a speech at the University of California, Berkeley, in which he outlined the philosophy of black nationalism as promoted by the Nation of Islam and declared racial separatism as the best approach to the problems facing black America. Most of that speech appears below.

Our people in the Negro community are trapped in a vicious cycle of ignorance, poverty, disease, sickness, and death. There seems to be no way out. No way of escape. The wealthy, educated Black bourgeoisie, those uppity Negroes who do escape, never reach back and pull the rest of our people out with them. The Black masses remain trapped in the slums.

And because there seems to be no hope or no other escape, we turn to wine, we turn to whiskey, and we turn to reefers, marijuana, and even to the dreadful needle – heroin, morphine, cocaine, opium – seeking an escape.

Many of us turn to crime, stealing, gambling, prostitution. And some of us are used by the white overlords downtown to push dope in the Negro community among our own people. Unemployment and poverty have forced many of our people into a life of crime. But the real criminal is in the City Hall downtown, in the State House, and in the White House in Washington, D.C. The real criminal is the white liberal, the political hypocrite. And it is these legal crooks who pose as our friends, force us into a life of crime, and then use us to spread the white man’s evil vices in our community among our own people.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches us that our people are scientifically maneuvered by the white man into a life of poverty. Because we are forced to live in the poorest sections of the city, we attend inferior schools. We have inferior teachers and we get an inferior education. The white power structure downtown makes certain that by the time our people do graduate, we won’t be equipped or qualified for anything but the dirtiest, heaviest, poorest-paying jobs. Jobs that no one else wants.

We are trapped in a vicious cycle of economic, intellectual, social, and political death. Inferior jobs, inferior housing, inferior education which in turn again leads to inferior jobs. We spend a lifetime in this vicious circle. Or in this vicious cycle going in circles. Giving birth to children who see no hope or future but to follow in our miserable footsteps.

So we thank God for the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. We who are Muslims saw no way out until we accepted the religion of Islam and the spiritual guidance of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. We saw no solution to our problems. We saw no real leader among our people.

But today the whole world is talking about the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the divine solution he received from the God of our forefathers. Not your God but from the God of our forefathers. Not a temporary solution which will benefit only the hand-picked upper-class Negroes, but a solution divinely designed to solve the plight of the Black masses in this country permanently and forever.

The government does not want our people to listen and understand the solution that God has given the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. The government is against Mr. Muhammad because the government is against our God. In order to trick our people away from God’s true solutions, the government is trying to deceive our people with a false solution, a phony solution, a deceitful solution called token integration. I may add, whenever you get on the bus or the subway or the streetcar and you have to use a token, that token is not the real thing but it is a substitute for the real thing. And wherever you have a token, you have a substitute. And wherever you have token integration, you don’t have anything but a substitute for integration and there’s no real integration anywhere in North America — North, South, East, or West, not even in San Francisco, Oakland, or Berkeley.

Has the government effort to bribe our people with token integration made our plight better; or has it made it worse? When you tried to integrate the white community in search of better housing, the whites there fled to the suburbs. And the community that you thought would be integrated soon deteriorated into another all-Black slum. What happened to the liberal whites? Why did they flee? We thought that they were supposed to be our friends. And why did the neighborhood deteriorate only after our people moved in?

It is the tricky real estate agents posing as white liberal friends who encourage our people to force their way into white communities, and then they themselves sell these integrated houses at such high prices that our people again are forced to take in roomers to offset the high house notes. This creates in the new area the same overcrowded conditions, and the new community soon deteriorates into the same slum conditions from which we thought we had escaped. The only one who has benefited is the white real estate agent who poses as our friend, as a liberal, and who sells us the house in a community destined by his own greedy schemes to become nothing but a high-priced slum area.

Today our people can see that integrated housing has not solved our problems. At best it was only a temporary solution. One in which only the wealthy, hand-picked Negroes found temporary benefit.

After the 1954 Supreme Court desegregation decision, the same thing happened when our people tried to integrate the schools. All the white students disappeared into the suburbs. Now the caliber of what our people thought was to be an integrated school has fallen to the same level of the slum school from which we thought we had escaped. Just as efforts to integrate housing failed miserably, efforts to integrate schools have been an even more miserable failure.

Having failed to get integrated housing and failed to get integrated schools’ now the Negro leaders are demanding integrated jobs. That is they are demanding a certain quota, or percentage, of white people’s jobs.

First the Negro leadership demanded the white man’s house, and the whites vacated their run-down houses for us and built new homes for themselves out in the suburbs. Then the Negro leaders demanded seats for our children in the white man’s schools. The whites evacuated the schools as our children moved in and they built modern schools for themselves in the suburbs. But now the Negro leadership is demanding the white man’s job. Can the whites vacate their jobs like they did their homes and their schools and move to the suburbs and create more jobs ? No. Not without violence and bloodshed. The same white liberals who used to praise our people for their patient nonviolent approach have now become openly impatient and violent themselves in defense of their own jobs. Not only in the South but also in the North. Even here in the Bay Area.

For thirty-three years the Honorable Elijah Muhammad has been warning us that the time would come when the white man would not have enough jobs for himself much less enough jobs for our people. So the present demand of our people for more of the white man’s jobs must lead to violence and bloodshed. It may even lead to a race war – a bloody race war. And it is the government itself that is now pressing the people of this country into a racial blood bath.

But the white man is misjudging the times and he is underestimating the American so-called Negro because we’re living in a new day. Our people are now a new people. That old Uncle Tom-type Negro is dead. Our people have no more fear of anyone, no more fear of anything. We are not afraid to go to jail We are not afraid to give our very life itself. And we’re not afraid to take the lives of those who try to take our lives. We believe in a fair exchange.

We believe in a fair exchange. An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth. A head for a head and life for a life. If this is the price of freedom, we won’t hesitate to pay the price.

By trying to oppose the divine solution that God has given to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the American government will actually provoke another Civil War. That is, this government – and especially that present administration in Washington, D.C. — will provoke a civil war among whites by trying to force them to give up their jobs and homes and schools to our people. And our people will provoke a race war by trying to take the white man’s jobs and his schools and his home away from him.

This racial dilemma poses a serious problem for white America. Civil war between whites on the one hand, a race war between the whites and their 20 million ex-slaves on the other hand. And the entire dark world is watching, waiting to see what the American government will do to solve this problem once and for all.

We must have a permanent solution. A temporary solution won’t do. Tokenism will no longer suffice. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad has the only permanent solution. Twenty million ex-slaves must be permanently separated from our former slavemaster and placed on some land that we can call our own. Then we can create our own jobs. Control our own economy. Solve our own problems instead of waiting on the American white man to solve our problems for us.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches us that on our own land we can set up farms, factories, businesses. We can establish our own government and become an independent nation. And once we become separated from the jurisdiction of this white nation, we can then enter into trade and commerce for ourselves with other independent nations. This is the only solution.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad says that in our own land we can establish our own agricultural system. We can grow food to feed our own people. We can raise cattle and use the hides, the leather, and the wool to clothe our people. We can dig the clay from the earth and make bricks to build homes for our people. We can turn the trees into lumber and furnish the homes for our own people.

He says that we can dig the natural resources from the earth once we are in our own land. Land is the basis of all economic security. Land is essential to freedom, justice, and equality. Land is essential to true independence. And the Honorable Elijah Muhammad says we must be separated from the American white man’ returned to our own land where we can live among our own people. This is the only true solution.

For just as the biblical government of Egypt under Pharaoh was against Moses because Moses had been directed by God to separate the Hebrew slaves from Pharaoh and lead them out of the house of bondage to a land of their own, today this modern house of bondage under the authority of the American government opposes this modern Moses. Opposes the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s efforts to separate our people, who have been made slaves here in this country, and lead us to a land of our own.

The government opposes the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s efforts to wake us up, clean us up, and stand us on our own feet so we can follow him out of this house of bondage to our own land where we can live among our own people. Just as the government of biblical Egypt was against the God of the Hebrew slaves, today the American government is against the God of her Negro slaves, the God of our forefathers. And just as that Pharaoh tried to trick the Hebrew slaves into rejecting the offers of salvation from their God by deceiving them with false promises through hired magicians and carefully staged demonstrations like the recent ridiculous march on Washington [the 1963 civil rights march and rally at the Lincoln Memorial], today this government is paying certain elements of the Negro leadership to deceive our people into thinking that we’re going to get accepted soon into the mainstream of American life.

The government is deceiving our people with false promises so we won’t want to return to our own land and people. The government is saying, “Stay here, don’t listen to this Muhammad, we will desegregate the lunch counters and the theaters and the parks and the toilets” – meaning this public accommodation thing where you can sit on a toilet with a white person or in a toilet with a white person.

“We’ll give you more civil rights bills. We won’t give you civil rights, but we’ll give you civil rights bills.” The government promises our people this only to keep you from listening to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and to stop us from waking up. They know that if we listen to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad long enough, we will begin to do our own thinking. He’ll make us see, hear, think, and able to speak for ourselves.

Whenever you become fed up in this country with the white man’s brutality and you get set to take matters in your own hands in order to defend yourself and your people, the same government – and again I repeat, especially that Catholic administration in Washington, D.C. – tries to pacify our people with deceitful promises of tricky civil rights legislation that is never designed to be a true solution to our problem. Civil rights legislation will never solve our problems. The white liberals are nothing but political hypocrites who use our people as political footballs only to get bills passed that will increase their own power.

The present proposed civil rights legislation will give the present administration dictatorial powers and make America a legal police state, but still won’t solve the race problem. The present administration is only using civil rights as a political football to gain more legislation and power for itself. Our people are being used as pawns in the game of power politics by political hypocrites. They don’t want our people to listen to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad because they know he will make them – make us see them as they really are.

So I say in my conclusion, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s message and solution is simple. He says: “Since we are not wanted in this country, let’s pack our bags and go home to our own people, to our own land.” The propaganda of the American government is skillfully designed to make our people think that our people back home don’t want us. Government propagandists tell us constantly, “Africa is a jungle. Africans are savage and backward. They have no modern conveniences and you’re too much like us white folks. How could you live comfortably back there?”

This propaganda is government strategy against the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, realizing that his mission is to teach our people the truth about our own kind, clean us up, and then return us to our own land and unite us with our own people.

The American government turns us against our own kind in order to keep us from making a mass exodus out of this country where we can live at home among our own people.

Therefore, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad says, American propaganda is designed to make us think that no matter how much hell we catch here, we’re still better off in America than we’d be anywhere else. They want us to think we have no place else to go. And many of our so-called intellectuals who pose as our leaders and spokesmen actually believe that we have no place else to go. So their solution to our problem is that we stay here and continue to catch hell from the American white man.

But the only permanent solution is complete separation or some land of our own in a country of our own. All other courses will lead to violence and bloodshed. It will lead to the destruction of America, and it will also lead to the destruction of our people who fall for it. So his message is flee for your lives and save yourselves. And I thank you.

I thought you were talking to me, not some phantom "black leader" that you don't have access to. My bad.

I bring up these incidents to disprove the Marxist media message that is repeated, ad nausuem, by the president on down: whites are not the majority of mass shooters, they are not the majority of people that commit crimes against other ethnicities, they are not the majority of "hate crime" suspects, and yes, whites get shot and abused by cops just as much, if not more so than blacks.
Whites ARE the overwhelming majority of the mass shootings that matter! Here's the deal. You know good and well that you can avoid the gangbang mass shootings by simply avoiding gang infested areas. But how do you avoid the random shooting that happens in the "safe" neighborhood? Everytime a mom in southside Chicago puts her baby on a school bus she knows there's a risk of some random crackhead and/or drug deal doing a drive by to try to kill some other crackhead and/or drug dealer. But when those parents dropped their kids off at the Christian school in Nashville or the upscale Stoneman Douglass High School in Parkland Florida or the mostly white mostly upper middle class Columbine High School, they had no clue their babies were in danger! Bitch all you want about the "marxist media", but they actually are reporting this correct for once. When it comes to mass school shootings, the overwhelming majority of the shooters are white males. Trying to bring in all mass shootings into the mix masks the very real problem of SSRIs and shootings. If all of the inner city gang bang shootings went to ZERO, you would still have an unacceptably high number of school mass shootings because it's not the inner city gang bangers doing it. The republican governer of Tennessee didn't introduce gun control legislation this year because some black kids got caught in the crossfire of a gang mass shooting in Memphis. He did it because 5 white people (and one black) were gunned down by a white shooter (she may have been trans but she was still white) in Nashville. It's not the race of the shooter that matters so much as the race and soocial class of the victims. Every GOP voter after this happened thought to themselves "This could have been my kids." And the truth is....it could have been. But again, SSRIs are the real culprit hear and white people have more accesss to the type of "healthcare" that's actually causing the problem. But you can't see the problem if your focused on the "There are killers in the black community too" part of the equation. Yes there most certainly are killers in the black community. They're just not shooting up schools.

    I have none, I agree.

    So what's to be done?

    Like I said, let's bargain.
We need more people like Harris Rosen doing what he did for Tangelo Park Florida. And they don't have to be white people. The Obama's could adopt some communities in Chicago and do the same thing. Jay-Z and Beyonce could as well. Same for Oprah. Same for Lebron James.

At the gubmint level, if the money is getting spent anyway it could be better targetted. How big is the "war on drugs" budget? Take that budget and find some underperforming high schools to incentivize. And Trump already put out the "Platinum Plan." I know, I know..."OMG! Government spending evil!" Okay. But it's goiing to get spent anyway. Why not do the most good possible with it? Yes, I agree with @PAF that there is a risk of facism like Haliburton not just getting all the Iraq contracts, but even the contracts for the Hurricane Katrina clean up. Would it have been so bad if some of that money had gone to people actually from New Orleans? Speaking of Katrina, Trump forgave 300 million in HBCU debt left over from Katrina. Eight years of Obama and he didn't do shyt to help those schools. I know @Swordsmyth and @dannno think I just hate Trump. I don't. I give him credit for things I think were actually helpful and call him out on what I think is BS. And if someone's got a better idea than what Trump already did and promised to do to help black communities (I like school choice too), I'm all ears.

Or how about the fact that HBCUs receive 178 times less federal funding than do the ivy league schools? The ivy league schools get more federal money than a lot of states! If Harvard really wants more black students post their affirmative action plan being struct down, maybe they could take some of those millions they get every year and use it to improve outcomes in the worst performing schools in America? I'm sure Tangelo Park isn't the only

So...those are my proposals. Note that I never said anything about raising your taxes are taking away anything from you, your children or grandchildren. (If you own Haliburton stock then sell it.) Of course this would never pass. It's too practical. When Georgia almost passed school choice, and even had a black democrat to vote with them, 14 traitorous republicans voted with the Democrats. These problems won't be fixed because the powers that be don't want them fixed! Homeless veteran problem? Hire homeless vets to work in public schools as janitors and double as security. Two problems solved at once. But again, the PTB do not want the problems fixed.

Majority of mass shootings carried out by white men

Where does that Philadelphia Tribune headline mention "school".

I could pull up a thousand more just like that.

Crime. If I'm walking down the street and someone tries to commit a crime on me, am I really thinking about whether he's black, white, (or blue)?? Nope. There's an individual there to do me harm. There's a threat to manage. It's personal. And real.

All this talk about statistics based on some identity (or badge) goes out the window.

This is why I say the topic is made up. It only exists in our minds. Most of our day-to-day existence and interactions with other people are entirely non-racial. We see the people we are talking to as individual people who have names and stories of their own. We recognize the race of other people, but it's an EXTREMELY small piece of who they are. It's only when we start projecting a collective onto an individual that this becomes an issue. Because we are thinking with our imagination rather than the reality in front of us.

Look, there is hardship, crime, and abuse at the lower ends of the socio-economic spectrum. Been that way since humans first started huddling together, I suppose. It would be foolish to think it can ever be otherwise. We should be focused on the policies that affect one's ability to escape the lower ends, instead of the distribution of races in that circumstance. And as Thomas Sowell always points out, it would be foolish to think the distribution of races in the lower ends could ever be equal.
"And now that the legislators and do-gooders have so futilely inflicted so many systems upon society, may they finally end where they should have begun: May they reject all systems, and try liberty; for liberty is an acknowledgment of faith in God and His works." - Bastiat

"It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere." - Voltaire
