    Who Is The Pentagon Leaker???

    Who Is The Pentagon Leaker???

Over the weekend we saw the largest leak of classified US government documents since Wikileaks. Ukraine assessments. China policy. Even spying on allies. Who leaked these hundreds of highly classified US Intelligence assessments? Pentagon? CIA? Putin? Ukraine? Europe? Most importantly: why? Also today...US threatens Europe over RU sanctions and Republicans want to bomb Mexico.

So how in hell did a 21 year-old E-3 get access to the stuff?
We have long had death and taxes as the two standards of inevitability. But there are those who believe that death is the preferable of the two. "At least," as one man said, "there's one advantage about death; it doesn't get worse every time Congress meets."

Marxist media organs work hand in hand with FBI to ID Pentagon "leaker"

I'm just finding out about this.

This seems like a big deal to me.

Is it deadnamed for some particular reason?

Air National Guardsman Arrested as Suspected Pentagon Leaker

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2...ntagon-leaker/

    KRISTINA WONG 13 Apr 2023

The suspected Pentagon leaker, a 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guardsman, was arrested on Thursday, according to Attorney General Merrick Garland.

“Today the Justice Department arrested Jack Douglas Teixeira in connection with an investigation into an alleged unauthorized removal, retention, and transmission of classified national defense information,” Garland said during a press briefing.

“Teixeira is an employee of the United States Air Force National Guard. FBI agents took Teixeira into custody earlier this afternoon without incident. He will have an initial appearance at the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. I want to thank the FBI, the Justice Department prosecutors, and our colleagues at the Department of Defense for their diligent work on this case,” he added.

“This investigation is ongoing, we will share more information at the appropriate time,” Garland said.

Hours before the arrest was announced, the New York Times reported that Teixeira was the leader of an online group where the classified Pentagon documents first appeared.

The documents contained classified intelligence, at least some of which appeared to come from the Joint Chiefs’ Directorate of Intelligence’s daily brief, which is shared digitally to thousands in the intelligence community every day. A source told Breitbart News its distribution was curtailed after the leak, and the Pentagon has since confirmed that its distribution has been changed.

    Stupidity is always a possibility.

Kid could be a good old fashioned patsy for an intentional leak. They milked Ukraine; it's time to lower the public's expectations.

It's a real leak and the kid threw himself on his sword to protect the real source, like the tweeter suggested.

    Pick one.

It’s so ironic to watch politicians and officials all over TV telling lies, and talking about the horrors of document control. At the same time, Biden leaves a trail of classified documents everywhere he goes. No problem there.

That is the talking point being repeated ad nauseam.

He was in IT, and had top security clearance to work on the systems he worked on. Of course he had access to everything. And apparently, the documents were distributed daily to thousands of people, and multiply that by the staff of each of those people. This is not SCIF level material if it is distributed like that.

This is like being shocked that someone who works at Google having access to your email and your internet usage.

I’m sure the punishment will be exactly the same as when Sandy Berger (Clinton Admin) stole classified documents from a SCIF in his pants and socks.

Speaking of the Clintons, this young airman is lucky he didn’t steal any Hillary Clinton/DNC documents. Then he would die a gruesome death like suicide by shooting himself multiple times in the back of the head, or be stabbed or shot on the street somewhere.

So the leaker was 21 year old Jack Teixeira, who lived in his mother's home and released the sensitive information through an online gaming forum. We can rule out "trying to impress girls" as a motive.

If he's going to be a public enemy, he's going to need a pseudonym; maybe something like "The Intel Incel"

When a shooting happens they speak of background checks and keeping certain people from owning guns. They speak of he posted this on social media.... The government wants to and does spy on every citizen.

Should people that work for the government handling Top Secret Documents be closely monitored?

Do you mean beyond the investigation they do every five years where they check with the neighbors and police departments of every place you've lived for the last 15 years, as well as every job and club/organization you've been with in that time? Some compartments require a full scope polygraph as well (which, if you've never been through one, is a really degrading experience ... they'll even ask about sexual habits and fantasies)

I guess what I am saying is if a regular citizen's internet usage is monitored, a person working for the government that is disclosing top secret documents on discord should be caught.

For the record I am glad he disclosed what he did and I think the government is a scumbag entity and not one word they say can be believed.

PROSECUTION UNABLE TO LOCATE KEY EVIDENCE IN TEIXEIRA’S CASE, JUDGE ORDERS ALLEGED DISCORD LEAKER REMAIN IN JAIL
    https://twitter.com/KyleAnzalone_/st...84454559551593
    by Kyle Anzalone | 06 September 2023

A federal judge denied Massachusetts Airman Jack Teixeira’s motion to be released while he waits for his trial to begin. Teixeira is accused of leaking classified documents on Discord that undermine the narrative put forward by the US government that the war in Ukraine was going well. The judge explained the authorities have been unable to find Teixeira’s hard drive, cell phone, or any of the documents he is accused of leaking.

In April, highly classified documents began circulating online showing war plans, Western troop deployments in Ukraine, casualty estimates, and a bleak prognosis for Kiev’s war effort. Other documents were embarrassing to Washington, such as the revelation that the White House was spying on UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

Initially, mainstream outlets speculated the documents were released by the Kremlin as pro-Russian propaganda. However, the New York Times outed Teixeira as the leaker, and he was subsequently arrested by the FBI.

The government has indicted Teixeira with six violations of the Espionage Act, each charge carries a ten-year maximum sentence. The airman has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Last week, Teixeira and his legal team appeared in court before Judge Indira Talwani. They were hoping the 21-year-old would be released into the custody of his father as he waits for his trial to begin.

Talwani denied Teixeira’s request while noting there were factors that “weigh in favor of release.” However, the judge said she sided with the prosecution “that Teixeira poses a risk of obstructing justice” if he was released.

“The circumstances of the offense leave open the possibility of further harm because some of the classified information at issue has not yet been recovered,” Talwani wrote. “The government has not found any of the physical documents Teixeira allegedly printed, nor has it located the hard drive from Teixeira’s home computer, or the digital copies of documents Teixeira may have stored electronically and then posted online. In the wrong hands, the information and documents that the government has not recovered could do great harm to the community by threatening national security.”

The judge also raised issues with comments Teixeira made online and his interest in firearms. “Teixeira’s social media messages display both an affinity for violence and vitriol for certain classes of people,” she added. The airman’s lawyers say the posts were made “primarily among teenagers” on a forum dedicated to war and combat-based video games.

One of the documents Teixeria is alleged to have released shows the US intelligence community believed Ukraine would fall “well short” of its goals to retake territory. Top White House officials, such as Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the assessment was incorrect, and the Joe Biden administration pushed Ukraine to launch the counteroffensive in early June.

As the leaked intelligence assessment predicted, Ukraine has only made small gains on the battlefield. Washington demanded Kiev employ tactics that involved taking high casualties.
