    Danny Carey Arrest

    I never knew Danny Carey of Tool was arrested on assault charges.




    Tool drummer Danny Carey was arrested at the Kansas City International Airport in Kansas City on December 12, 2021 for allegedly getting into a fight with another man. According to FOX 4 KC, Carey will have his first hearing on December 15 after the case was continued (postponed) seven times since the incident.

    According to the ticket issued by officers, Carey "intentionally inflicted injury when he allegedly yelled a homophobic slur at the victim, saying 'You're a f*****g f****t'" while jabbing the man with two fingers. TMZ reported at the time that Carey was facing misdemeanor assault charges and could be fined up to $13,900.

    Tool drummer Danny Carey is no longer facing assault charges relating to an incident that occurred in late 2021. As Fox 4 Kansas City reports, prosecutors have dismissed all charges against the 61-year-old musician following a scheduled court date last month.Jan 26, 2023
