Divide and conquer. I’ll add to that. When the left (OWS) and the right (Tea Party) come together to protest crony banksterism, they had to be divided and turned against each other. It was more clever than it seems.
One side (Tea Party), is predominately straight white men. All it took was a gross generalization to make them an enemy. Wall St. bankers are straight white men, thus all straight white men (including the Tea Party) are the evil oppressors. It’s not just some corrupt people on Wall St. and in government, it’s all straight white men. It’s inborn, systemic oppression, which is essentially systemic racism.
And thus, the protest against corrupt Wall St and government cronyism was split in half. The bait was swallowed hook, line and sinker, so much so that the left has turned it into a pseudo religion (wokeism). Almost everyone is a victim, except for straight white men, who are always the oppressor, or part of the oppressor group.
