I agree that the Left is unlikely to allow to us to peacefully separate.

However, attempting that course of action is, in my view, both an ethical prerequisite, and a practical prerequisite, to any kind of civil war that would otherwise be deemed necessary.
It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

A national divorce will literally cause a lot of bloodshed. There's no such thing as a peaceful separation in a post Lincoln world.

There is no way to do it since the political divide isn't regional anymore as much as it's now urban vs non-urban.

The regional divide still exists, and is more than significant enough to warrant a separation.

A THIRD of Americans agree with Marjorie Taylor Greene's 'national divorce' call: 47% of Republicans back bid for red states to split, according to shocking poll

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...orce-call.html

    2 March 2023

Republican firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene says the U.S. needs a 'national divorce' between red and blue states
A shocking new poll shows that one-third of Americans agree with this idea
Two-thirds of independent voters disagree that there should be separation

Explain how to deal with the blue urban areas that exist in deep red states?

Nothing wrong with Atlanta becoming its own state.

Landlocked enclaves surrounded by their enemies don't really work so well.

That's a complex question with complex answers and I'm not gonna pretend to know the best way. What I can say with certainty, is that secession can only be helpful in solving the problem, as it allows the individual states much more power and flexibility to experiment on solving this question that you have presented.

With that said, a few ways it could possibly be handled are below:
    1) "Chase out" the blues in urban areas, by implementing state-wide policies that are hostile to their way of life
    2) Forcefully evict the blues (I'm sure @Swordsmyth would agree)
    3) Grant cities semi-autonomous status but also revoke their ability to vote in state elections
    4) Allow them to secede and become full fledged city-states
    5) Murder the blues in urban areas (I'm not recommending it - but it would work.)

Well, when it comes to Atlanta, that's still kinder than William T. Sherman's methodology.

It's pretty obvious virtually no one has any intentions of doing that
