Even if he legally could be indicted, the case is weak and will be thrown out by the Supreme Court due to lack of evidence.
Well then the republicans will lose. Trump doesn't have the favorability numbers to win a general election.

He’ll win anyway with the Moore vs Harper case which is based on the Independent State Legislature Theory. The case hasn’t been ruled on and it won’t be till next June but the fact that they heard the case gives it a high probability that they will rule in favor of it.On the one hand:

And the Moore vs Harper should fix this problem if the court rules in favor of the Independent State Legislature which means that State Legislatures can directly choose electors for President.
If it were possible I would bet my entire bank account that Trump will lose 2024. That's how confident I am that he'll never be president again.
