NCAA Basketball top 25 openers tonight

Hoosiers open up with win at home over Morehead St. this evening .We have another game before Nov 18 when we travel to Xavier. Then three more games before Nov 30 # 1 North Carolina with the Big 10 schedule then starting with us at Rutgers Dec 03. I think this is our shot to win the Big 10 , this should be our best team in some time so I am hopeful. At # 5 Kansas on 12/17. I havnt checked out any other games this evening . Hoosiers have North Carolina Wed night , then At 5 - 1 Rutgers on 12/03 , have Nebraska on 12/07 , # 4 Arizona on 12/10 then at #9 Kansas . North Carolina was # 1 last week. We are shooting 56 percent from the field so far which I like . Hoping to do well during this stretch because it will be a Jan of tough opponets , Iowa , Northwestern , Penn St , Wisc , Illinois , Mich St , Minnesota and Maryland. Thats probably half of the potential Sweet 16 teams we'll see before Feb .Go Hoosiers ! Last time the Hoosiers and Purdue were in the top ten at the same time was 1998 .

Defense pretty well shut down North Carolina and we cruised to victory. North Carolina was last seasons runner up. Now we are off to New Jersey Sat to a place we have had little success in the past three seasons, Rutger. Need a win there to start the Big Ten before we play Arizona and Kansas.
