WTH was that Brian? Who said anything about Gavin Newsom?

My point is that I think the fact that we're marching headfirst into WW3 and a stock market crash and depression, by far the two biggest issues that this forum was founded upon (foreign policy and central banking...immigration was far, far down the list) should be a much more highly discussed topic here than DeSantis' latest immigration distraction PR stunt. There's nothing in GenPol about those two monumental issues facing us all but plenty about DeSantis immigration, Trump's manufactured drama and rest of the kabuki theater performers antics. It's almost like it's intentional, ya know?

Texas Sheriff Javier Salazar on Thursday certified that the group of migrants flown to Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., last month by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) were victims of a crime, qualifying them to obtain a visa.

Salazar, the Bexar County sheriff, submitted certification documents that will allow the nearly 50 migrants to apply for U visas, which grant crime victims nonimmigrant status in the U.S. to ensure that they are available as witnesses during investigations or trials.

There is nothing to fear from globalism, free trade and a single worldwide currency, but a globalism where free trade is competitively subsidized by each nation, a continuous trade war is dictated by the WTO, and the single currency is pure fiat, fear is justified. That type of globalism is destined to collapse into economic despair, inflationism and protectionism and managed by resurgent militant nationalism.

He imported in immigrants just so he could send them to Martha's Vineyard and on taxpayer dollars to simply game one up on the Dems.

Florida taxpayers paid $615,000 for DeSantis to fly Texas migrants to island
    https://www.tallahassee.com/story/ne...d/10399505002/

DeShamtis should not be using the power of his office and taxpayer dollars simply for political purposes. A speech threatening to do so would have had the same effect without the consequences of spent taxpayer funds and now citizenship for the group claiming legal victim status protections.

This is the same guy that used people whom already did their time and paid their debt for political purposes to again game one up on the Dems.

20 were charged for voter fraud in Florida. Advocates say a broken system is to blame

That's why we have seen some of the recent prosecutions of folks who by all accounts really genuinely did not know that they were ineligible when they registered and voted," he said. "They were even registered to vote in registration drives conducted by election officials."

There is no group he will not use and abuse for political purposes to get a sound byte on Fox News. For now it is illegals and ex-convicts. Who knows who he will use next.

DeShamtis also hangs with and is funded by the swamp. He has no moral compass. The media narrative otherwise is just an act.

Florida governor Ron DeSantis will fly migrants to Illinois and Delaware

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...box=1665870652

    15 Oct 2022

The Republican governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, plans to continue flying undocumented migrants to Democratic strongholds, his spokeswoman said on Saturday, a day after released records showed the state paid nearly $1m to arrange two sets of flights to Delaware and Illinois.

Documents released on Friday showed that the planned flights will transport about 100 migrants. They were scheduled for before 3 October but were halted or postponed. The contractor hired by Florida extended the window for the trips until 1 December, according to memos released by the state transportation department.

Asked why the flights were postponed, DeSantis’s communications director, Taryn Fenske, said Florida had been busy dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.

“While Florida has had all hands on deck responding to our catastrophic hurricane, the immigration relocation program remains active,“ Fenske said.

The flights would be a follow-up to 14 September flights from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, that carried 49 mostly Venezuelan migrants to the island where the former president Barack Obama owns a home. Local officials were not told in advance that the migrants were coming.

DeSantis claimed responsibility for the flights as part of a campaign to focus attention on what he has called the Biden administration’s failed border policies. He was joining the Republican Texas governor, Greg Abbott, in sending migrants to Democratic strongholds without advance warning.
Another mark of a tyrant is that he likes foreigners better than citizens, and lives with them and invites them to his table; for the one are enemies, but the Others enter into no rivalry with him. - Aristotle's Politics Book 5 Part 11

Well, many folks truly actually believe Trump was sent by him:

    May 16, 2019

The Trump administration is looking for a private contractor to move the dramatically increasing number of children detained at the US border with Mexico to shelters across the country.

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) says it needs a “highly responsible” company to accompany tens of thousands of juvenile asylum seekers and families to the shelters every year, according to a newly issued federal procurement document reviewed by Quartz.

A draft solicitation dated May 13 seeks “on-demand escort services for non-criminal/non-delinquent UAC and FAMUs ranging from infants to 17 years of age and adults with a family, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year.” (In US immigration terminology, “UACs” are “unaccompanied children,” and “FAMUs” are “family units.”)

The winning bidder will arrange commercial airline and bus trips for roughly 60,000 people per year, the document says. Over the course of a five-year contract, the contractor will transport an estimated 225,000 unaccompanied children from “infants to 17 years of age,” as well as adults with families, and will be responsible for everything from buying plane tickets to supplying food, clothing, and procuring healthcare while in transit.

    https://qz.com/1620064/ice-plans-to-...mmigrant-kids/
But, like with the VAX (OWS), transfer it under Biden's watch, so that you know, good-guy-bad-guy elections 2024. As long as your tax dollars are hard at work.

At least he bidded it out. Right? Gooooooo Fed!

It's not immigrants doing that, it's the stoopid people who keep voting and funding "their" side to enrich the M(ilitary)IC and P(rison)IC. For the past 30 years, MVM has specialized in providing services to Federal customers. Since 1987 we’ve supported more than 20 Federal agencies throughout the Departments of Defense, Justice, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, and State, as well as the Social Security Administration. Because of our depth of experience, we know what it takes to make our customers successful in achieving their missions.

Following the September 11th attacks, MVM received contracts from the United States Army and the U.S. Justice Department. MVM continues work on these contracts as well as contracts with agencies incorporated into the Department of Homeland Security.

In 2018, MVM won a contract from the FBI to conduct classified research for its High-Value Detainee Interrogation Group.

Among these is a $162 million contract with ICE to transport unaccompanied minor migrants. In July 2018, it was reported that MVM used a Phoenix, Arizona office building to provide unaccompanied minors shelter during the previous three weeks despite not being zoned for human occupancy or having a state license to serve as a child care facility.

As part of this year's roughly $109.9 billion state budget – which had bipartisan support – the legislature allocated $12 million "to facilitate the transport of unauthorized aliens out of Florida."

"We're going to spend every penny of that", DeSantis said at Friday's press conference. Public records show the state paid a private contractor, Vertol Systems Inc., an aircraft solutions provider, $615,000 to transport the migrants to Martha's Vineyard. That's $12,300 per migrant.

Don't blame me. I don't "vote" for either side. If it were up to me, I would not beg the Fed to "do something" or send a single penny. I believe in freedom, liberty and fiscal responsibility.
