Over 8,000 Americans Still Stranded in Afghanistan

New Senate report says 800 rescued since last August fall of Kabul. Another report estimates 9,000 total left behind, contrast to Biden's few hundred. That leaves a little over 8,000 still there.

The families must be in a horrific bind afraid to even acknowledge their family member is there, for fear it will put them on the Taliban's radar.

"The U.S. government has evacuated more than 800 American citizens from Afghanistan since the Taliban swept to power and U.S. troops officially left the country last August, according to data provided by House GOP investigators and the State Department."

"In what President Biden declared an “extraordinary success,” as many as 9,000 Americans were abandoned during the administration’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan last August, a new Senate report says.

Whereas Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed at the time that fewer than 200 Americans who wanted out were left behind by the Biden administration, a new 64-page report from Senate Foreign Relations Committee Republicans reveals that untold thousands were deserted by the administration."

At this point it's more likely they are there by choice. This isn't exactly a country with secure borders.

But the Afghanistan pull out was successful according to the MSM.
