A handful of Republican operatives are quietly mounting a last-ditch effort to rescue Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) from a Trump-backed primary challenge, Axios has learned.
    ...
Involved in the effort are Jeff Larson, the chairman of Republican research firm America Rising and a longtime Cheney backer, and Julia Griswold Dailer, a former Trump White House and inauguration committee aide.

Their strategy is two-pronged: Persuade Democrats to cross the aisle and back the Wyoming Republican in this month's open primary, and dent her Trump-endorsed challenger by portraying her as insufficiently loyal to the former president.

What's happening: Two seemingly unrelated political groups recently popped up to try to beat back Hageman's challenge.

Wyomingites Defending Freedom and Democracy is running digital and television ads and encouraging Democrats in the state to cross party lines and vote for Cheney in the Aug. 16 primary.

Conservatives for a Strong America is portraying Hageman as a fake conservative secretly in league with Cheney and critical of Trump.

The latter group is also trying to boost two of Cheney's other primary challengers in an apparent effort to split the anti-Cheney vote.

The intrigue: Tex McBride, a Wyoming rancher who leads WDFD, told Axios that Larson recruited him for that role.
    ...
Federal Communications Commission filings list Griswold Dailer as WDFD's campaign manager. Her phone number is listed in advertising disclosures for both WDFD's and CFSA's Facebook ads.

A source involved in the campaign told Axios that Griswold Dailer is "running the show" for the umbrella effort.

She did not respond to multiple inquiries about the campaign and her role in it.

What is this treasonous 9/11 mass murder criminal still doing free?

Hey Dick the plane is 20 miles out from the Pentagon no shoot-down order yet? Does this guy still appear in public?

    https://www.911research.wtc7.net/~ni...is/cheney.html

MR. MINETA: No, I was not. I was made aware of it during the time that the airplane coming into the Pentagon. There was a young man who had come in and said to the vice president, "The plane is 50 miles out. The plane is 30 miles out." And when it got down to, "The plane is 10 miles out," the young man also said to the vice president, "Do the orders still stand?" And the vice president turned and whipped his neck around and said, "Of course the orders still stand. Have you heard anything to the contrary?

Why is Treasonous 9/11 Criminal Dick Cheney Speaking in Public? Guided Plane into Pentagon

The sheer brass and nerve of this guy who in public 9/11 Commission testimony clearly failed to give a shoot-down order at the object on radar, presumably Flight 77, coming at the Pentagon. Do they really think everyone just forgets?

People like to joke he is Darth Vader or a cyborg, but the man is not really funny. There is a good chance he was the operational mastermind for the day of 9/11. The issues raised by Mineta's testimony have never been resolved.

    https://www.911research.wtc7.net/~ni...is/cheney.html

As the attack unfolded, news reports stated that Cheney had been whisked to a secret and secure location -- later revealed to be the Presidential Emergency Operating Center in the basement of the White House. Cheney was with National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, directing the response to the attack. Or was he directing the attack? The testimony of Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta is suggestive in this regard.

MR. HAMILTON: We thank you for that. I wanted to focus just a moment on the Presidential Emergency Operating Center. You were there for a good part of the day. I think you were there with the vice president. And when you had that order given, I think it was by the president, that authorized the shooting down of commercial aircraft that were suspected to be controlled by terrorists, were you there when that order was given?

MR. MINETA: No, I was not. I was made aware of it during the time that the airplane coming into the Pentagon. There was a young man who had come in and said to the vice president, "The plane is 50 miles out. The plane is 30 miles out." Cheney can speak in public all he wants. Most people in this country no longer give a damn about what he says about anything.

    Dore roasts Cheney (much-deserved):

Lying Cheney is the #2 reason (second only to Lying Bush) that I am not a Republican (I'm proud to say that I left 18 years ago!) and never again will be a Republican (unless it becomes impossible for liars and traitors like these to lead that party). I remember reading an expose on the neocons a long time ago showing that they all have Marxist roots and background -- if the neocons were a left-wing infiltration of the GOP, all I can say is that they were spectacularly successful. If you want to do a controlled-demolition of an entire political movement from within, that's how you do it. I was young when I voted for Bush 2. I believed all the hype. Like 99% of Americans, I had few questions in the wake of 9/11. I was not pro-war, and I did not understand the point of invading Afghanistan but I supported America, right or wrong. (Now I understand the invasion, and it was the opposite of everything stated on television). The Iraq war was the beginning of the end for me. By the time Colin Powell did his famous UN presentation, I was starting to question what was really going on behind closed doors. I knew that the Dems were just on a politically-motivated tear that had nothing to do with the truth, and that the entire debate over "WMDs in Iraq" was just a Wag the Dog trick. But something wasn't right and it appeared that the Republicans were just doing the same, in reverse. And as I began digging into what's really going on behind closed doors, everything began to crumble like a poorly constructed house of cards. Yeah, it was all BS. Which means that trillions of dollars, thousands of American soldiers and untold Iraq civilians were sacrificed on the altar of American greed and power, all under the flag of the GOP which had control of both the White House and Congress, with a relatively non-hostile SCOTUS.

So, if you want to understand why the conservative/libertarian movement has been disintegrated to ash in the post-911 era, start by looking into the real story of Bush, Cheney and the neocon gang that rode them into power. Marxists and traitors, all of them. America had a lot of problems in 2001. I was a young man and believed all the propaganda about the new century, new millennium, all the hope, the possibility, the optimism. Things were about to get better than they had ever been before. But that was all strangled to death on 9/11 and I had no idea until nearly 10 years later when the new political reality began to set in. We were attacked by terrorists on 9/11, for sure, and they achieved all their objectives, beyond their wildest dreams. Post-9/11 America is 100% fear-based, culturally and politically. Only a few countries in the world have more fear than America... North Korea, Iran and maybe a few others.

I come from a hardline conservative political background, just one degree removed from the "vast right-wing conspiracy" that paranoid Hillary is always harping about. The monster hiding under our beds as children was called the New World Order. It was hiding in the bushes just across the street, waiting to kick in our doors, throw flash-bang grenades, kidnap us from our parents for the crime of home-schooling, and put us into government indoctrination centers. In my later teens and early adulthood, I consciously rejected all the black-pilling. Sure, things are bad. But not everybody's bad. There are enough good guys out there that things will get turned around. Then 9/11 happened. I opposed the Patriot Act. I opposed the MCA. I opposed the NDAA. I did not support the invasion of Afghanistan. I opposed the invasion of Iraq. All of this unconstitutional "law", alien to American history and values, is foreign culture smuggled into our country by crooks and traitors.

Turns out the black-pillers were right all along. These people are not just evil, they have come up out of the very Abyss. Hell is spewing itself out upon the earth, as we speak. So be it. I was born for this.

It can and will be reversed and Trump is the thin end of the wedge to do it.

You missed the point of the meme (I am the author of the meme, in case it's not obvious) -- Cheney is an irrelevant dinosaur that they brought out of cyrostasis in order to rally some kind of imaginary "neocon base" within the GOP. There is no neocon base, there never was, there are just the neocons and those RINOs among the GOP that they were able to dupe for the duration. They didn't need to build a political movement because the purpose of the War on of Terror, the second gulf war, the Patriot Act, MCA, NDAA, etc is right now before your eyes: the maggot-eating WEF Antichrist/NWO. That was the whole plan from long before the first "plane strike" hit the WTC towers. In case it's not completely crystal clear to lurkers: they closed the schools and they never really reopened them; a lot of school is just Zoom-based and, if government schools were a joke before, they're a full-blown 3-ring circus now. The point? Government indoctrination is the fundamental foundation stone of the Antichrist/NWO tyranny. Without it, you cannot indoctrinate the next generation of lobotomized socialist zombies. They closed their own indoctrination centers. From this, we can infer that they believe this is the final generation of humanity. There will be no more children to educate, going forward. Maybe they're right, maybe they're wrong but one thing's for certain: this is not business-as-usual. This is another kind of thing we have never seen before.

So, no, I don't give a damn what Cheney says. It's just venom spewing from a snake's mouth. There's no useful information to be gleaned from it, whatsoever.

Dore ripped Cheney to shreds in this bit, which is hilarious...

The only thing I care to hear from Cheney is either repentance and submission to the Lord Jesus, or his last breath so he stops thieving air that doesn't belong to him.

I am on the right side of history. Just like Jesus told his disciples, fish from the right side of the boat.

    John 21:6

6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Trumper supporters can spin it as they like but there is no difference between the Cheney's, Trump's and Biden's. Publicly you may see differences you think are there but in reality there is no difference.
    * See my visitor message area for caveats related to my posting history here.
    * Also, I have effectively retired from all social media including posting here and are basically opting out of anything to do with national politics or this country on federal or state level and rather focusing locally. I may stop by from time to time to discuss philosophy on a general level related to Libertarian schools of thought and application in the real world.
