'Chaostan' And How to Restore The System Of Liberty - With Guest Richard Maybury

Ukraine insane, inflation, wokeism, endless money printing: bestselling author Richard Maybury joins today's Liberty Report to discuss how the enemies of liberty have used the public school system to advance their agenda...and how liberty can make a comeback.

Not sure if the system of liberty can actually be restored.

On the points of fact, he seems on the money, save for the bit about the "system of liberty", which never existed. Tyranny began with the First Congress and we should not bull$#@! ourselves about that fact.

In terms of the discussion of optimism for the future, I am less sanguine. While I agree that the current circumstance represents a grand opportunity, what they failed to do here is delve into the details of what it would take to make hay with it. There are several aspects of this, every one of them having been either ignored completely, or glossed over, neither of which are helpful.

There are a few conditions that would have to be met, which include but are likely not limited to:

    1. Relieving ourselves of the corruptions that have lead to functional complacency by even those who profess their love of liberty.
    2. Becoming correctly educated in what, precisely, defines proper human liberty in the context of societal life among and amid one's fellows.
    3. Seeing the light of understanding where concern the virtues of freedom such that people are moved to actually want to be free.
    4. Understanding that attaining proper freedom is almost certainly going to require physical violence.
    5. Preparation in one's mind for the prospect of having to kill other human beings in order to gain actual liberty, and then to maintain it over the long haul
    6. Working to ACT in ways that massively thwart the Tyrant, forcing him into the corner wherein he must choose either to step off, or escalate to physical violence (open warfare). In America this would require the active participation of at least 20-30% of the population. This is an estimation, but I've made part of my professional bones on such endeavors and tend to be pretty good at it.
    7. Learn to assess all threats to one's state of liberty, most especially those internal, seeing as how they can be the more difficult to identify.
    8. Develop sharp skills in how to identify and differentiate the tolerable from the intolerable. For example: being homosexual - tolerable. Rubbing one's abnormal sexuality in the noses of my children - intolerable and for which you shall receive the most dreadful beating of your life.
    9. Cultivate a warrior culture of extreme intolerance of the intolerable, effectively torpedoing the "progressive" distortion of the notion of "tolerance".
    10. If we are going to continue to insist on the stupidity of a constitution, which would almost certainly be the case, given the "intellects" with which we have to work, let it be properly conceived and executed, vis-á-vis the hot mess under which we currently suffer. And most importantly of all, it must contain detailed provisions for the draconian methods of correction to me applied to all who violate the "public trust" in any capacity as an agent of the so-called "state". Death should be foremost among the risks to the individual who, acting in his capacity as such an agent, violates the rights of those to whom he swears an oath of good faith and competent service AND fails to make amends for his transgressions. Furthermore, his entire family should be reduced by whatever degree might be required in terms of compensations to such an agent's victims, up to an including abject penury. Such agents must waive a specific list of their fundamental rights for the entirety of their tenures and must agree to the waiving of a reduced set of those rights for a period of fifty years beginning the day after their last day of said tenure.

As one can see, this is a substantial list and I submit that this is the minimal requirement, any mossing element greatly increasing the likelihood that any victory in attaining real liberty would be comparatively short-lived.

What would be required is a fundamental transformation in the minds and attitudes of a critical mass of Americans. This in itself strikes me as vanishingly small likelihood. Far less likely do I see the possibility of 50 to 100 million Americans taking up arms and engaging in the sorts of mass civil disobedience that would be required to get Theire attention, much less the will to engage in what would be the likely required slaughter of multiple millions of their fellows who would move to actively prevent any nudge toward actual freedom. Theye would answer with stern non-equivocation and extreme prejudice and we would have to be ready to risk loss of our own lives, as well as those of our children, pursuant to the goal in question. At this time I do not see that as having so much as a snowball's chance in hell of coming to pass. But I stupidly cling to the hope that I will one day prove mistaken on that point.

It is my deep suspicion that far too few Americans, including many here, have so much as the slightest clue as to just how monumental a task it would be to gain liberty, much less maintain it. We are talking about changing some of the most deeply-seated beliefs, attitudes, and world-views in human animals, a herniating proposition on its best days. We are so far gone at this point, and I have some very specific reasons for this assessment of our state of readiness, that I would deem it a fantastic accomplishment, if even ten percent of the required changes were to be realized.

Like it or not, see it or not, we stand at the bottom of a deep pit with smooth and grease-covered concrete walls, thousands of feet high. We have no tackle of any sort, yet the goal is to climb our way out. Mere luck won't get it done. We need a miracle.

There is only one correct way: freedom. All other solutions are non-solutions.

It appears that artificial intelligence is at least slightly superior to natural stupidity.

Our words make us the ghosts that we are.

Convincing the world he didn't exist was the Devil's second greatest trick; the first was convincing us that God didn't exist.
