    The Three(?) Laws of Politics

I've been thinking about how predictable politics can seem and wondering if there could be laws akin to physics laws to govern them, so I came up with the three laws of politics:
    1) Every opinion in a state of uniform motion will remain in that state of motion unless an external force acts on it.
    2) Political energy can be neither created nor destroyed.
    2) For every lie there is an equal and opposite lie.

    Any thoughts/criticisms/additions?

An immoral society is incapable of electing Moral Leadership.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.
