    Bravo Kyle!

In a normal society people cannot just make up lies about you, they ignore it and continue to do it. Maybe now, they will definitely think about what they say before continue the lying narratives.

Didn't the similar Palin lawsuit just get tossed? I think the kid should just lay low and move on with his life.

That is a different type case, the judge made his opinion known about what he was going to do with Palin's case while the jury was out deliberating.

    Not even similar,

    Kyle has a Solid Case..
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Totally different case. Sarah Palin is a public figure and was before anything objectionable was said about her in the news. Kyle Rittenhouse was a totally unknown quantity before the news media turned him into a household name. If you are a public figure you have to prove actual malice, as in the people who said what they said knew it was false when they said it. If you're not a public figure all you have to prove is negligence, as in the people who said what they said could have figured out it was false before saying if they had done a reasonable inquiry.

Yes. And the reason he did that is because Palin is a public figure. Kyle's case is more like that Catholic kid who got smeared by CNN and later CNN settled. You know what? At the moment I can't even think of his name. I know I could look him up, but the fact that I ONLY know him because of the negative false narrative painted about underscores my point.

Unlikely. Usually the civil and criminal dockets are separate. That said, this won't go to trial. The Young Turks will settle. They grudgingly admitted that Kyle was most likely innocent before the verdict came out.

And Whoopi is still smarting from getting spanked for touching the third rail in liberal politics, any deviation from the socially accepted narrative of the Holocaust. I doubt she wants to risk a trial unless she thinks it will somehow redeem her in the eyes of liberals to try to argue there was a good faith reason for her to conclude Kyle was guilty without bother to even try to understand how a self defense claim works.
