I listened to the orals on this and have to say that American "jurisprudence" is, at best, a train wreck.

I also listened to orals on the 2A case against NYS.

What is so disgusting in listening to these vermin who call themselves "justice" is that they never address these issues in terms of fundamental principles - you know, basic human rights and all that apparent rot - but rather in the context of irrelevancies such as "text and tradition". Perhaps we should re-visit Jim Crow and lynchings on with "text and traditions" as the standards of reassessment, eh? "It is our finding that having a good old lynching Friday nights is indeed a fine and ancient tradition that ought not be disrespected. Then there's all the writins' 'o dem grand dragons dat say dem darkies gotsta go! So git yer guns, yer horses, and some good stiff rope 'n go hang yerselves a couple 'a niggrahs 'n send d'rest back t'Afrikka where tradition says they belong.'

They didn't even cite WHICH traditions or texts, that I can recall, but spoke only in general vagaries. What in hell goes on there? Every time they get specific, it is ALWAYS against our freedoms and never in favor.

Scalia pooched the Heller opinion when he lied, claiming the 2A was not an "absolute" right. In so doing, he left the door ajar for the Tyrant's future endeavors. This is what I expect to get in the 2A case - some bull$#@! equivocation that will essentially enable NY to continue on its merry and tyrannical way, effectively unimpeded by a ruling that will appear superficially as a victory for our rights, but will in fact enable NY tol continue to deny the vast majority of applications, thus preserving the status quo. The only recourse will be to sue once again, which will have to go all the way back up the chain of appeals due to corrupt courts, and SCOTUS might then refuse because they may claim the question has already been heard, and that will be that. I look eagerly forward to be proven wrong and will gladly eat my words, dunce cap in place.

As for the mandate case, we see the equivocation phenomenon at work where they have ruled that those institutions funded with any federal money can be forced to vax. That would include a huge proportion (most???) of hospitals, all government agencies from POTUS down to village dog catcher because basically every government agency across the land take money from the Feds. This is our esteemed SCOTUS at work, betraying all to whom they swore their oaths.

The only two justices that seem to be worth more than the match with which to light their gasoline-soaked selves ablaze are Gorsuch and Thomas. Barrett has proven a gross disappointment to date. Let us hope she redeems herself a lot in the NY case. Sotomayor, Kagan, and Breyer are worthless and obvious stooges, Roberts a traitor, with Alito a bit of a wild card.

We are in the hands of devils and we sit, thumbs in our asses, inert to Theire outright war-making against us.
