This Coming Friday . . .

This coming Friday could be the tipping point – and either way will be a good way.
The nine people who – somehow – have acquired the absolute and arbitrary power to impose their will on 330-plus million people will decide whether the federal government has the constitutional power to apply force to those 330-plus million, in order to compel them all to submit to medical procedures many of them object strongly to being forced to submit to.
This is plain language – as opposed to the opaque language used by government to mask the true nature of itself and its actions.
“Government” – itself – being an example of this.
It sounds vaguely benign. It is force – lethal force, when carried to its inevitable conclusion. If you do not obey government – which isn’t an entity, by the way but rather just a relative handful of people who have acquired the power to force you to do things – you will be punished. Probably – initially – expected to hand over money as a corrective.
This being extortion.
If you fail to hand over the extortion money, ultimately, you will be “arrested” – another one of those words – which in fact means you’ll be kidnapped by force and taken into custody. Which is to say, caged – no differently than if you’d been kidnapped by a serial killer. If you attempt to “resist” – that is, to defend yourself, to get away – the government (those people) will then resort to the ultimate violence.
Maybe well before then, as happens commonly.
Well, these nine people who wear the black garb of executioners are about to decide whether that other group of people – the “government” – can “constitutionally” force all of the people to submit to medical procedures – plural, mark that – they oppose submitting to, by using the force of government to force employers to un-employ any employees who “resist” – i.e., continue to refuse to submit.
Of course, the government already has the power to do this. The angels-dancing-on-the-head-of-a-pin question to be “ruled” upon (another one of those words) by the nine people – which is actually just a majority of the nine, so only five of the nine will rule as regards the use of force against 330-plus million people – is whether the use of this force is “constitutional.”
It’s a silly question with an obvious answer, of course.
That being, no.
It is simply ludicrous – night-is-day ludicrous – to even suggest that the Constitution authorizes the federal government to force the citizens of this country to submit to medical procedures. It is a hanging crime under the Nuremburg Code.
And it will lead to worse crimes, if the five of nine decree (“rule”) it is – somehow – “constitutional.”
See that part above about plural.
If the court decrees that it is “constitutional” to use force to compel people who aren’t sick to submit to treatment a priori (a legal term meaning before the fact) on the basis of preventative medicine, then the principle has been approved that the government may also use force in other cases, these to be defined in whatever way the courts or the government decree to be “necessary.” This is how precedent works, in law.
Ask a lawyer.
Doctors will acquire power. No longer will their prescribed treatments be optional. If you fail to take your medicine, they’ll be in a position to force you to.
Your employer, too.
Those flu shots that used to be something you didn’t have to take will be things you’re forced to take, using the precedent that may soon be set down by five of the nine.
As often as they say.
Other shots, too.
Perhaps even other procedures. Once the principle is admitted that it’s “constitutional” to force people to submit to one procedure, the principle has been established that it’s legitimate to force them to submit to them, generally. It is not going too far to worry where that could lead.
The Germans found out – and so may we.
But there is good news, regardless.
If, on the one hand, the five of nine decree that, indeed, the Constitution was intended to and in actual fact authorizes the federal government to use force to compel every citizen (it won’t be just those who work for companies that employ 100 or more people; see that bit above about legal precedent and where it leads) then it will be apparent to many of those 330-plus millions of people that there is no Constitution anymore – and for that reason, they are under no obligation to respect the decrees of five people as binding upon them.
Such a “ruling” (decree) is almost certain to trigger more than mass resignations – as the millions of people who have so far refused to submit are not likely to just because five of nine order them to, no job being worth the price of their bodily integrity.
And that may well trigger something else.
It could prove to be our time’s Lexington and Concord moment, the reference being to that moment, in another time, when it finally became clear to Americans there was no possibility of any coming-to-terms with those who meant to rule them. Getting away from them was the only way to escape being ruled.
And so it went.
And may, again.
This business being infinitely more . . . intolerable than the “acts” which also goaded the Americans of that time to give up trying to work things out with people who, it had become clear, meant to rule them.
Obey – or else – and that’s all.
The other possibility is that the five – maybe even six or seven – might see the awful danger and pull us back from the brink. Might actually respect the Constitution, which only an insane or evil person could claim endows the federal government with the “constitutional” power to force the entire populace to submit to medical procedures, contrary to their will.
If so, then it will buy some time. Cooler heads may prevail, for a time. The desired thing being the avoidance of the use of aggressive force, something all sane (and not-evil) people very much desire.
Millions of Americans simply, desperately, want only to go about their lives. To work and play, to raise their families – in peace. They are very much uninterested in harming others and thus loathe the notion of forcing others. But this does not mean they will endlessly submit for the sake of avoiding the use of defensive force, the last resort when tyranny refuses to let them live, in peace.
Two days from now, the balance will tip.
One way – or the other.
