No amount of evidence will ever satisfy the Trumpers, including Trump's own words. They will sooner accuse him of lying about what his own positions were than to admit that he took the wrong ones. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a completely accurate name for what they have.
Fortunately there are still a few voices of reason in the GOP.
