Any Central Il efforts going on?

Really just wondering if there is anyone else in the Central Il area that sees what is growing up around us and needs another person to talk to about it. I'm not looking to create/lead/inspire/etc any kind of protest or anything of the sort. I'm just looking to socialize with persons of like mind who live in the same area.

Bless your soul... There's a place in heaven for those who've endured life in IL.

I'm north - been wanting to leave IL actually. I've been saving for a second house - my wife has kin in IL, which is why I'm here. The second house is cheaper than divorce and quicker than waiting for the kin to expire.

Being several hours from central, I probably wont be making it down your way but I'll give your thread a bump.

Thank you kindly. I've done my best to live outside the need of society for a long time so really IL hasn't been that bad for me personally until now. I've a plan to move south, but a lone wolf doesn't live long in the wild. I would love to find like minded people to plan with.
