Bit surprising narrative, assuming this is not anti-MAGA fakenews:

FBI says Taliban takeover in Afghanistan inspiring Americans virtually

    Tue, October 12, 2021

The FBI believes the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan is pushing Americans toward acts of violence.

Charles Spencer, the FBI’s assistant director of the International Operations Division, said his officers witnessed an increased amount of chatter on social media and online from people who haven’t traveled to the Middle East but have been influenced by the Taliban.

“There’s a lot of talk about it, and I think that’s the first thing you see. Where there’s talk, there’s more interest,” Spencer said at the Soufan Center’s Global Security Forum in Doha, according to Defense One.

“That’s where people who are people on the fringes, [who are] potentially not mentally stable, [and] not even affiliated with them — I think that’s where they see this rallying cry and their opportunity,” he continued. “Now, it’s 'time to buy a gun, run people over with a car,’ do whatever they’re going to do.”

America’s Far-Right Extremists Are Drawing Inspiration From The Taliban’s Victory In Afghanistan

“The political backlash from the US troop withdrawal has been leveraged by White nationalists to support their claim of the illegitimacy and ineptitude of the Biden administration as well as calls to reinstate Donald Trump as president,” Sara Kamali, a scholar and author of Homegrown Hate: Why White Nationalists and Militant Islamists Are Waging War against the United States, told BuzzFeed News in written comments.

One such white nationalist is Nick Fuentes, a 23-year-old vlogger and antisemite who cheered on the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol and has an ally in Republican Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona. Seemingly praising the Taliban as “a conservative, religious force,” Fuentes told his 42,000 subscribers on Telegram on Monday, “The defeat of the US government in Afghanistan is unequivocally a positive development.”

What is surprising? The groups have a lot in common. Conserbative, rural, religous and ethnic/racial majority. Forget the terrorism, the GOP could just play the long game in the US like the taliban did. Let the left eat itself and wait.

What is surprising is the people who committed a string of riots are not accused of violence, and the people who have basically not done a damned thing, whose window breakage ratio is thousands : two, are being accused of the violence.

It seems to be a subset of GOP-MAGA 2.0 wing, not sure if most of GOP currently would fall in that category.

Historically speaking, GOP-MAGA 1.0 aka Reagan Republicans used to have strong affinity for foreign funded Islamist Jihadi militants of Afghanistan allegedly:
