California mandates gender-neutral toy aisles for large retailers

California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed into law Saturday a bill requiring large retailers to provide gender-neutral toy sections, per the Los Angeles Times.

Why it matters: California is the first state to adopt such a law. LGBTQ advocates have pointed out that marketing methods using pink and blue hues "pressure children to conform to gender stereotypes," AP notes.

The Consumer Federation of California supported the law, saying: "Keeping similar items that are traditionally marketed either for girls or for boys separated makes it more difficult for the consumer to compare the products and incorrectly implies that their use by one gender is inappropriate," the Sacramento Bee reports.

Details: The bill, which will take effect in 2024, overcame opposition from Republicans and conservative groups, who said it was government overreach.

The law states that retail stores with 500 or more workers must sell toys and child care products (excluding clothes) in a gender-neutral section that's "labeled at the discretion of the retailer ... regardless of whether they have been traditionally marketed for either girls or for boys."
Retailers can continue to offer other toys and child care goods that are traditionally marketed specifically toward girls or boys.
Companies that fail to comply with the new law could face a civil penalty of $250 for a first violation and $500 for any subsequent violations.

What they're saying: Democratic Assemblyman Evan Low, who introduced the legislation, said "we need to stop stigmatizing what's acceptable for certain genders and just let kids be kids," per AP.

"My hope is this bill encourages more businesses across California and the U.S. to avoid reinforcing harmful and outdated stereotypes," Low added.

Of note: Retailers have in recent years been moving away from gender stereotypes — notably Target, which announced in 2015 it would stop using some gender-based signs in its stores.

California Gender Neutral Mandates ARE Modern Day Lynching

In a way, this is not that different from Lynching.

So let me talk about Lynching for a moment. The term Lynching was named after the man who invented the technique: William Lynch, who lived during the late 1600's. William Lynch was that era's version of a Psychologist. William Lynch was also a Free Black Man, a very smart free black man, but also a very evil black man.

The technique we know of called "Lynching" is given focus on the idea of "hanging a disobedient black slave from a tree". There is truth in that, but as the way we are commonly lied to is to exclude important details that alter our perception, our view of "Lynching" is also missing some important facts. What was omitted from the version of "Lynching" that most people are familiar with is that Female Black Women were FORCED to watch the Male Black Slave being hanged for disobedience.

The reason that the Enslaved Black Females were forced to watch is because the Women were their REAL targets. If it were "simply" a form of punishment for a Disobedient Black Male Slave, then hanging from a tree (often until death) would have been sufficient. The Audience of Enslaved Black Women being the real target is why it is a technique of "Lynching" was and still is Psychological Warfare against the enslaved black community. When the women were forced to observe a Black Male being hung from a tree, their Mental Image of EVERY Black Male was altered. The behaviors of the Black Women were forcibly adjusted so that they would raise their own black male children different. The black woman who had observed the Lynching of a black male raised their children to be subservient to their masters by becoming the Alpha of their families over male counterparts.

Thus, the black male was taught to remove themselves from positions of leadership for those enslaved, and the Black Mothers were effectively "doing the work" William Lynch had intended, and teaching the children to be obedient slaves because they had witnessed the utter destruction of a Strong Black Alpha Male.

This Mandate in California to eliminate the difference between male and female is a modern day version of Psychological Warfare against any Strong Alpha Male. The target of the California Gender Neutral Mandates is NOT the men, rather, the WOMEN, because the effects on those women will be taught to their male children that they do not grow up to be Strong Alpha Males of ANY kind.
