I dont even think the border crossing at Del Rio is open. I think they closed it a couple days ago. The border patrol Del Rio sector covers 245 miles and 47 counties of ranch land. Been in operation since before 1924. By 1926 they were paying the officers an extra 25.00 per month for providing own horse and an extra 75.00 per month for providing own vehicle.
