    Chinese government's brainwashing education

Hello everybody! Is it a myth or true that China’s brainwashed their youth? Would you please give some exact and specific proofs? Thank you!

China? More meddling? Why worry about them? You should worry about the USSofA - first and foremost. Now that's a brainwashing country!

Brainwashing has nothing to do with what you see in the movies which is really a trope that plays on hypnosis and other fictional themes. China very conscientiously employs methods of mass behavioral and belief conditioning on its entire population (both youth and adult) and they make no secret of it. The US and other Western countries also employ similar methods of mass behavioral and belief conditioning on their populations, but they are much more deceptive about it and make a big pretense that their people are "free to think and do what they like."

A Martian observing Earth's population from near earth orbit would conclude that what Western countries really mean by the word "freedom" is the widespread availability of known social vices at low prices and little, if any, social sanctions. So the concept of "freedom" in the West really has nothing to do with freedom-as-such and everything to do with repackaging vices as "freedom". You are free to be as sexually perverted as you want, to be as much of an alcoholic or drug addict as you want, you are free to be as foul and offensive in your speech as you want, and so on. So those are your "freedoms". Enjoy them.

I haven't lived or traveled in China, so my knowledge of China is limited to information that is accessible externally. I have watched some in-depth videos by expats living in China. A couple things are clear to me from these videos: (a) China has huge variations in both politics and culture from one region to the next; in this respect, it is similar to the United States. For example, in Oregon, pot possession has virtually no legal significance whatsoever (as long as you're not selling); in several southern states, even minor pot possession can have massive legal consequences. So you can be "in the US", but where you are in the US can make a world of difference. (b) In some regions of China, there is a pretty big disconnect between Chinese culture and Chinese government policy. Even though the CCP is a terrible force in that country, the fact is that Chinese culture is "deep", meaning, there are no quick-and-easy methods for imposing political controls on these more remote, traditional regions. In the US, the equivalent would be deeply rural areas in, say, West Virginia or Arkansas. Many of these places are truly remote, even today, and a lot of the assumptions of modern political control simply break down in those places.

Summary: there are no quick-and-easy answers to your question.
