Afghan journalist confronts Pentagon: 'Everybody is upset, especially women'

WASHINGTON — A female Afghan journalist tearfully confronted a Pentagon spokesman during a Monday press briefing, in a poignant reminder of the human stakes of the Taliban’s takeover of a nation that the United States had long hoped would be transformed into a stable democracy.

“I’m from Afghanistan, and I am very upset today,” the journalist, Nazira Karimi, told Defense Department spokesman John Kirby. “Afghan women didn’t expect that overnight all the Taliban came.”

Over the weekend the Afghan government collapsed amid the U.S. withdrawal, and the Taliban surged back into Kabul. Many fear that the Taliban will impose their strict interpretation of Islam, which was especially repressive to women and girls.

This is the propaganda on every outlet right now. Goes to shown the absolute dominance of the MIC over every media source. Just like the nearly unanimous pushing of vaccines shows the power of the pharma complex.

And this narrative is so transparently stupid. What about our good friends Saudi Arabia? How do they treat women? Any better than the new version of the Taliban? How about any fundamentalist Islamic nation? How about what Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib would like to implement right here in the US?

See, and of course if we don't go back and spend another 235 Gazillion dollars and waste 584 Gazillion lives then that only proves the US is a misogynists' nation after all. So, we better get back there and prove them all wrong. Wonder if the #metoo folks will call for a redeployment?

Sure you are. And since you'll probably be leaving behind some spooks I guess that means we have to stay.

Joe Biden has said American troops may remain in Afghanistan past 31 August, as the evacuation of US citizens continues. The president told ABC News: 'If there’s American citizens left, we’re going to stay until we get them all out.'

Of course the Dementia in Chief do the bidding of the G7 and put our troops at risk again. When they do come under attack our Dementia in Chief will have his excuse to once again increase troop levels and "surge". I hear he needs a boost in the polls for his approval ratings are dropping.

LONDON—Key U.S. allies are expected to pressure President Biden on Tuesday to prolong U.S. operations in Afghanistan past Aug. 31 to evacuate more Westerners and Afghans, despite warnings from the Taliban that they won’t accept the continued presence of international forces beyond the end of the month.

The U.K. has convened an emergency meeting of the Group of Seven advanced economies over the Afghanistan crisis, which will consider whether to prolong evacuation operations past the Aug. 31 deadline the Biden administration has set to end the U.S. presence in the country.

The Taliban say they won’t allow international troops to remain past the deadline and can’t guarantee that any troops who stay won’t be subject to attack.

Speaking to the American people in the wake of a devastating terror attack at the Kabul airport that left scores dead on Thursday — including numerous U.S. troops — President Biden promised the U.S. would strike back against those responsible.

“To those who carried out this attack, as well as anyone who wishes America harm, know this — we will not forgive, we will not forget, we will hunt you down and make you pay,” the president said in a somber White House address.

Former Trump administration national security adviser H.R. McMaster called on President Biden to “reverse course” in the aftermath of Thursday’s terrorist bombings in Kabul, urging him to scrap his deadline for pulling U.S. troops out of Afghanistan, cut off dealings with the Taliban and launch a new war on terror against jihadi networks throughout Central Asia.

“What we saw today is just the beginning,” McMaster said in an interview with Yahoo News about the deadly attacks in Kabul. “We are going to see horrible image after horrible image. … We’re going to confront the steady drumbeat of horrors inflicted on the Afghan people. What are we going to do about it? Are we going to give a damn? Or is this going to be like Rwanda?” He was referring to the genocide in 1994, when ethnic extremists slaughtered 800,000 people in Rwanda.

The US military will be developing operational plans to "strike ISIS-K assets, leadership, and facilities," said the president on Thursday, following a string of suicide bombings at the Kabul airport that killed at least 13 American military members and dozens of Afghans looking to seek refuge on airlifts out of the country.

"We will respond with force and precision in our time, at a place we choose, in a manner of our choosing," Biden said in his address.

"These ISIS terrorists will not win. We will rescue the Americans. We will get our Afghan allies out. And our mission will go on," the president added on Thursday, assuring Americans that US citizens will continue to be evacuated. "America Rome will not be intimidated."

The Taq-e Zafar is a triumphal arch located at the front of the gardens in Paghman, Afghanistan.

The famous victory arch commemorates Afghan ‘INDEPENDENCE’ after the Third Anglo-Afghan War in 1919.

The monument was constructed after King Amanullah Khan returned from his European Tour in 1928.

The Tour included a visit to Great Britain (13th March 1928 to 5th April 1928) as guests of King George V and Queen Mary. The steam ship SS Maid of Orleans (Joan of ARC) arrived in Dover on the 13th of mARCH.

A European-style monumental gate similar to the ARC de TRIOMPHE in Paris, France was created…

The King would subsequently live-out his exiled days in Rome, Italy.

Leon Panetta says US troops will need to return to combat in Afghanistan
    By Lee Brown
    August 27, 2021 8:24am

Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta says US troops will need to go back into combat in Afghanistan — as the region remains on high alert for more suicide attacks, with the death toll from Thursday’s atrocity soaring over 180, including 13 US service members.

“We’re going to have to go back in to get ISIS,” Panetta told CNN, calling Thursday’s twin suicide blasts by the reinvigorated terrorist group “Joe Biden’s worst nightmare.”

“We’re probably going to have to go back in when al Qaeda resurrects itself, as they will, with this Taliban,” he predicted.

“They gave safe haven to al Qaeda before, they’ll probably do it again,” predicted Panetta, who was the director of the CIA and oversaw the US operation that killed the terror group’s leader, Osama bin Laden.

“I understand that we’re trying to get our troops out of there, but the bottom line is, we can leave a battlefield, but we can’t leave the war on terrorism, which still is a threat to our security,” he told CNN.

US airstrike targets Islamic State member in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON (AP) — Acting swiftly on President Joe Biden's promise to retaliate for the deadly suicide bombing at Kabul airport, the U.S. military said it used a drone strike to kill a member of the Islamic State group's Afghanistan affiliate Saturday.

The strike came amid what the White House called indications that IS planned to strike again as the U.S.-led evacuation from Kabul airport moved into its final days. Biden has set Tuesday as his deadline for completing the exit.

Biden resumes drone strikes in Afghanistan, 'it believed its strike killed no civilians'
Yes, we already knew McCarthy and over 90% of the GOP is on the payroll of the Deep State. Trump would have kept a permanent base in Afghanistan, there is no doubt. Trump and Pompeo's routine was to "say" they've left, but keep thousands of private mercenaries there, paid for by the U.S. gov.

The contractor approach. That way, he can get on a podium and say he brought the troops home, but maintain the occupation. What Biden did - but it is also doubtful whether or not he will be able to stay out, is totally leave.
This broke the rule of Empire. You don't leave. Ever.

That is why the Deep State terror network "ISIS" did the bombing. I also think the Israelis were involved.
They want a base in Afghanistan to support the Iran War's Eastern Front.

Biden is not sufficiently Zionist for the Deep State, and he's not millitaristically inclined. He prefers diplomacy.
So far, he's managed to keep the U.S. from promising full-blown war participation against Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Jordan, and whomever else would fight along with that axis.

The moment he doesn't play ball anymore, he will be done away with. Harris will cooperate, to her demise. She will be taken out by Iranian cells after going too far, and Pelosi will be President. By this time, there won't be a functioning civilian government in the U.S., and Pelosi will only be a figurehead.

It will be the Armageddon war, and Israel will be destroyed, losing the war badly, even with U.S. participation.
That is because Russia used its capabilities to eliminate the nuclear threat out of Israel, and defend Syria and Iran, while Erdogan allied with Hezbollah. America will not fire ICBMs against Russia, as the agreement not to do so is maintained in the highest Top Secret classifications, the reason being that Russia would turn the entire continental U.S. into radioactive slurry, uninhabitable for centuries.

Millions of Arabs will descend upon the Zionist Entity and massacre and enslave all the Jews they can. The Jews will be hunted down across the globe, and hundreds of pogroms will occur, never covered on the news. You won't be able to see any of this (not that you want to). Only the top militaries of the world will maintain satellites and internet for themselves. Nobody will be talking about it on twitter or showing cell phone streams. It won't even be understood until the aftermath what really happened.

Turks, Arabs, Asian Muslims, gangs of Jihadis will follow them into Cyprus, Africa, Europe, wherever they can try to escape, and wipe them out. They won't all be killed, and if they surrender, they will be imprisoned for a time. But if they fight, they will die. Even in the U.K. and France, causing states of emergency. There will be a revolution in the U.S., a semi-violent one that will "close" the government for months. The military will not fight the American people seeking to change the government, because it will be totally demoralized, and the top brass will take a neutral stance, as the Masons and Mormons make inroads into transferring power for themselves into the new regime, concentrated at this time in Colorado, Utah and Nevada, as a power base that will supplant Washington for a while, but not capable of turning the tide (last throes of the Deep State), they will side with the revolution.

The Europeans will be neutral, and Rome will emerge as the new seat of civlian authority, replacing Brussels and the EU. The new Pope and the Catholic Church will ally Rome with Russia, and King Charles III will work with them, breaking the U.K./U.S. alliance, as NATO ceased to exist already. There will be civil disturbances, but no war in England. Boris Johnson will retain his Prime Ministership through it all, as he has the favor of Charles and the Pope. As American bases around the world are abandoned, U.S. troops in Germany and Japan will become civilians. South Korea will cut a deal with the DPRK, and U.S. troops there will not be harmed, but will also become civilians.

The Chinese army will advance from Mexico, and the Cuban army will move into Miami, with Haitian and Venezuelan support. Chinese fleets will port at L.A. and Seattle with hundreds of thousands of Red Army troops, but they won't attack Americans, because by now Americans have already taken over D.C. The U.S. Navy, already deciminated when it tried to invade the Middle East by order of Harris, won't stop the Chinese fleet. Missiles fired from land will be counterdicted, due to the Russo-Chinese defenses. Mexico's secret alliance with China wont be understood until months later, when Mexico reclaims the Aztlan territories, including all of New Mexico and Arizona. The country will be mostly dark, and Americans will just be concentrating on survival. At this point, the U.S. has no functioning army or National Guard, and less than 20% of the public will even recognize Pelosi as President. She will resign peaceably, from her bunker, and Washington D.C. will overflow with pop-up tents and mobile homes. All the buildings will have homeless living in them. A new Constitutional Convention will be held, and the country will never bring back its military, except as a civilian defense organisation. The U.N. will disestablish the Security Council, making the Assembly its only body.

There are two signs that have to start this. 1) Israel attacks Iran for real, and Iran fires missiles into Israel. 2) U.S. joins the war.
Once these things happen, the news will all be controlled. Internet access will be spotty and mobile comms will be regulated.
Putin will not talk to the West. Xi will shut down all trade with the U.S., and it begins...

    https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/...184909536.html

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) on Monday preducted the United States “will be going back into Afghanistan” due to the threat of terror,

After praising former President Donald Trump for maintaining the U.S. military presence in Afghanistan, Graham said in an interview on Monday with the BBC that the Taliban will “impose a lifestyle on the Afghan people that I think is going to make us all sick to our stomach.”

“But most importantly,” he said, “they’re going to give safe haven to Al-Qaeda who has ambitions to drive us out of the Mideast writ large and attack us because of our way of life. We will be going back into Afghanistan as we went back into Iraq and Syria.”

-( then how about we get out of the Middle East? why is this so hard to understand?)-

Following this statement, BBC host Stephen Sackur asked, “You seriously think the United States will once again, in the foreseeable future, put troops back into Afghanistan?”

“We’ll have to because the threat will be so large,” Graham responded. Citing the situations in Iraq and Syria, the Republican senator predicted that Afghanistan will be a “cauldron for radical Islamic behavior.”

Graham proposed that the United States support the resistance in Afghanistan’s Tangir Valley to avoid the fracture of the country that would “create a perfect storm for Western interests to be attacked,” and to “hit them before they hit you.”

-(We tried this when we backed the Mujahedeen when the Soviets were there. Incidentally Osama Bin Laden was part of offshoot group of the Mujahedeen. So, once again we're going to perform preemptive strikes/attacks without formal declaration by Congress)-

Graham previously criticized President Joe Biden’s decision to follow up on Trump’s planned withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan. “We’re leaving thousands of Afghan allies behind who fought bravely with us,” he said last month in an interview with “Face the Nation.” “We’re going to leave hundreds of American citizens behind.”

What western interests, Lindsay old girl? The Caucasus pipelines? The poppy fields?

You make it sound like us being there makes it less likely they'll bring their rage here, to North America, of course. And of course, you didn't say that outright, because it's extremely unlikely.

My theory: We've never left entirely. I'm sure we have some spooks left behind on purpose to see what they do now that they have the country back. Also to see and monitor for ISIS, ISIS-K, or any other flavor of terrorist that emerges. There's always a National Interest where spooks are involved as its the intel they want.

Dam, now that I think about it ... this sounds like the Iraqi playbook all over again. Drum up some intel (accurate or not) about some terrorist group. Make a case at the UN (yellow cake anyone?) and for our safety because of some unverfied but "reasonable" intel from "reliable" sources we have a reason to go back in. Premptively, to prevent said unverified possible maybe attack that in theory could happen. Wonder who the next Osama is? who was on our payroll that we left behind on the ground during the evac? Who's the CIA trained butt hurt Afghani wondering why the USA isn't holding up to its end of the bargain?
