Thread: He has erected a multitude of New Offices, ....

  1. #1

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, ....

..., and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance."

Once upon a time men went to war over this.

A Republic. IF you can keep it.

I've been waiting for more than a few dozen voices to make that noise for two score years.

    We would.

This is why the Republic is dead.

It's a "nation" of bureaucracies to large and messy to ever succeed.

The U.S.A. is dead and gone as we knew it. We've gotta start looking towards the next phase and begin planning accordingly.

It never really existed in our lifetime and we all just bought into a fairy tale until we woke up.

Property taxes and gun control have been around for along time. You do not live in a free society if you are not allowed to own property outright or buy a gun without approval from government. I can go on. It is all one big sham.

People were waking up to fairy tale America. The elites saw that, freaked out deciding to give the people Trump entertainment to blow off steam to reign them back in.
    * See my visitor message area for caveats related to my posting history here.
    * Also, I have effectively retired from all social media including posting here and are basically opting out of anything to do with national politics or this country on federal or state level and rather focusing locally. I may stop by from time to time to discuss philosophy on a general level related to Libertarian schools of thought and application in the real world.

A reset is good enough. And it is coming.

Not exactly. They once valued their own credibility. They once operated as if they cared if the "dollar" lasts three more years or not. They once tried to educate kids how the system was designed to work.

The incrementalism of the past is over. They used to play hearts to shed point cards. Since the turn of the millennium, they try to shoot the moon on every deal

Until a few years ago, Virginia was a place that respected one's right to keep and bear (some) arms. Virginia was one of the few places on Earth where one could buy a handgun with cash, load it, put it on your hip and walk down the street without any paperwork involved. I miss that Virginia.

In NH I can walk in, pay cash, walk out with gun on hip or in pocket, pretty much anywhere I care to go.

Back then people started riots over 1% tax. On tea.

Now we have 3,762,923 taxes in this country (yes, I counted them). And that's apparently fine

But, go ahead with your Orange Man Bad Libertarian Anarchist bull$#@!.

Pat yourself on the back for electing Biden President.
As if Libertarian Anarchist is now a bad thing in this forum, wow.

The failure on the right to recognize the country moves further to the left every 4 years regardless who is President is the reason this pattern will continue like it always has. We will lose our gun rights and more do to misguided love for this man throwing you a bone here and there. Time to move on from him now before it is too late.

Sad that you used to get it before allowing yourself to be deluded by this false sense of team inclusion you have for him and the false left/right pundit news cycle. Trump and Pillow man, the pundits are not coming to save you. They are in it for themselves to make a buck off your back, your rights be damned.

    * Also, I have effectively retired from all social media including posting here and are basically opting out of anything to do with national politics or this country on federal or state level and rather focusing locally. I may stop by from time to time to discuss philosophy on a general level related to Libertarian schools of thought and application in the real world.

The country keeps moving to the left because this country has had a Leftist majority (or at least a plurality) for many decades now.

The only resolution, is to let the Leftists have the west coast, NYC area, and the rest of us can move on & start repairing the damage they have done.
