I have a serious issue with my right eye and need a cornea replacement. The other day when I was at the doctors office and was made aware of this they were booking the procedure and all the appointments required before and after surgery. While booking the appointments I was asked if I have been vaccinated for COVID. I said no. A few minutes later I asked why I was asked about being vaccinated and told the lady that if being vaccinated was a requirement for the surgery I would rather go blind. She explained it was not a requirement.
