Interesting thread. He needs to put it in an article.

American liberalism -- especially after the Trump era when it re-aligned with CIA, FBI and neocons -- is an absolutely authoritarian faction.

Their brains won't process that because they've spent 5 years telling each other Trump is the fascist, but their movement is a menace.

Pet peeve, I prefer to use the term “left”, instead of “liberal” or “liberalism”. There is nothing “liberal” about totalitarian demands for absolute and unquestioning conformity.

Exclamation White House Colludes with Facebook to Censor ‘Misinformation’

Now that it's been confirmed that the White House is monitoring "chatter" in the US and alerting FedBook, $#@!ter, Screwgle and all the rest about content that the government wants deleted, can we finally dismiss the libertarian fantasy that these "private companies" are free to abuse us however they like?

White House Colludes with Facebook to Censor ‘Misinformation’

    https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2021/...isinformation/

    Allum Bokhari 16 Jul 2021

On Thursday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki admitted that the administration is identifying posts to Facebook that contain “misinformation” about coronavirus vaccines and is in “regular touch” with the Masters of the Universe. Psaki specifically admitted that the administration is flagging “problematic” posts to Facebook.

“We are in regular touch with the social media platforms and those engagements typically happen through members of our senior staff and also members of our COVID-19 team,” Psaki told reporters, adding “his is a big issue, of misinformation, specifically on the pandemic.”

“We’ve increased disinformation research and tracking within the Surgeon General’s Office. We are flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation.”

Psaki’s comments followed demands from Surgeon General Vivek Murthy for social media companies to clamp down on alleged misinformation about the pandemic and coronavirus vaccines.

“Health misinformation has led people to resist wearing masks in high-risk settings. It’s led them to turn down proven treatments and to choose not to get vaccinated. This has led to avoidable illnesses and deaths,” warned Murthy.

Facebook, along with other major tech companies, has cracked down on a wide swathe of constitutionally protected speech about the coronavirus and vaccines. In March of this year, it censored a Wall Street Journal op-ed from a Johns Hopkins surgeon who argued that the United States would likely achieve herd immunity against the virus by April.

The social network also bans so-called misinformation about coronavirus vaccines, despite the fact that Mark Zuckerberg himself has expressed concerns about the unknown long-term side effects of vaccines that can modify DNA and RNA. Zuckerberg’s comments came to light in a leaked video published by undercover journalists at Project Veritas in February.

In an implicit recognition that the facts around the coronavirus are not settled, Facebook earlier this year reversed its position on discussion of the theory that coronavirus is a man-made virus that potentially leaked from a lab.

The open admission that the White House coordinates censorship with Facebook will likely be welcomed by lawyers for Donald Trump, whose recently-announced lawsuit against the tech giants in part rests on claims that social media companies colluded with government bureaucrats and politicians to suppress his speech on their platforms.

Another lawsuit, brought by Harmeet Dhillon’s Liberty Center on behalf of pro-Trump activist Rogan O’Handley, also makes the public-private collusion argument, presenting evidence that Twitter colluded with the government of California to suppress political speech.

It depends on which books. Those "liberals" would easily support preventing Amazon from selling books they don't like. And then they'd tell you, "hey, they're a private business - businesses can ban whatever books they want"

    They aren't "censoring" anything.

They're just "correcting" "misinformation" by "removing" it.

And of course deleting information from the internet that they don't want the sheeple to find out.
While internet "search" engines make sure that you don't find the information on the scandals and the cover-ups...

Sullivan's name disappeared from Macro's website in July 2020.

Another Macro consultant, Veterans Affairs Secretary nominee Denis McDonough, was then-President Barack Obama's chief of staff, so also had insider information about the Iran nuclear deal and other Middle Eastern foreign policy issues.

Sullivan and McDonough were later handsomely rewarded when they joined Macro.

Not really surprising that Blinken's WestExec Advisors removed information from its website about helping American universities get Chinese donations.

Other Biden nominees have also been deleting information from the internet.

So how do you guys respond to those who support this censoring of information as being necessary to help stop Covid because they consider it a public health crisis?

They could claim that there's misinformation that is contributing to more people being affected by covid.

I say, yes, there is. Information is being surpressed about Vitamin C, not lying flat with chest congestion, Ivermectin, chicken soup... And there's misinformation being circulated that common sense no longer applies, and treatments proven by millennia of success suddenly don't work any more.

They do. It's still nearly impossible to develop pneumonia while sitting up. And developing pneumonia is still just about the only way any chest cold can kill you.

Then, as I have run afoul of their cognitive dissonance, the autistic screeching starts, and I start producing links to prove they're peddling misinformation.

It's always fun to see the reaction of an autistic screecher when they're confronted with proof that they've been repeating lies.

Massie Questions Wray about Government Involvement in Social Media Censorship 6/10/21

This week (July 15, 2021) President Biden's press secretary revealed the government is tracking and flagging Facebook posts (and 12 users) for Facebook to act upon.

A month ago, I asked FBI Director Wray if he knew whether similar activity occurred in January. His answer makes more sense now.

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

There is and has been misinformation the network site, but it depends on what narrative you want to believe, you think because one is christian and white that they are under attacked for centuries, when there have been injustices not taken that seriously against others, and sadly those people are protesting and some of them aren't being lawful, while many are.

Often all groups like their own echo chamber.
