Thumbs down Texas Democrats flee state to block Republican voting bill

Democratic lawmakers in Texas fled the state to prevent the passage of a Republican voting rights bill. Without the Democrats, there aren’t enough lawmakers present to hold a vote. Mireya Villarreal reports.
What part of "Over the target" do some people not understand? How is this conspiracy-fact not understood?? You have to have nothing but rocks in your head to not get it.... the election system in the US is corrupted and rigged. It needs to be (carefully and meticulously) restored if there will ever again be representation in government. Mark my words, they are toying with the basis of human choice on the most fundamental level. Wake up!

The last time this happened it was over gerrymandering, and they wound up in Oklahoma.

I would like to personally thank them for stinking up Washington this time.

Hold the vote and pass the bill anyway. Then let the courts figure it out
It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

Draw up an emergency popular mass no-confidence vote while they're out of state and reopen all the seats that were intentionally left vacant for fresh challengers... they either return to filibuster the no-confidence vote (and get dragged by the Rangers for the voting reform vote) or lose their seats...

Just earlier this year, Democrats were sending people from outside of Georgia for temporary residence so these "operatives" we'll call them (useful idiots is the most appropriate term), could impact GA's elections.

They are crafty. They are pathetic. They are evil.

    Ya, or do something.

This is my biggest complaint against Greg Abbott. He's let the democrats run all over him.

We wouldn't even be in this position if he didn't give away Committee chairs to the Democrats. It's $#@!in stupid

    Apparently not hard enough.

Democrats, they know how to vote hard.

Republicans could learn a thing or two.

They simply can't stand a fair vote..

They run away from the fact that they can't win legally.

They can't have a vote they don't have "Fixed".
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Yea, but the narrative they and all of their allies (the media) push to the common person is "this is racist! we're doing this for YOU! You have no idea how bad this is, look at us defending the little person!"

And because the common person (people) is extremely stupid... voila. The narrative sets in and people just put all critical thinking aside. Gotta love it.
