Yoooooo!!! Is that Mel Gibson saluting President Trump?

Mel Gibson's public persona makes him look like one of the last sane actors. Privately is an entirely different matter.

You know Mel? Tell him he still owes me money
It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

Judge much? Humility and Sobriety makes a person change their perspective on life.

No, not at all. The last time I saw him I thought it was after he got sober but maybe I misremember. However I believe sober or drunk the political argument for which he confronted me on would have not been any different which caused me to think of him this way now. If you replaced William Wallace in Braveheart with the actor Mel Gibson, he would have cut a deal with Long Shanks and the movie would last about 5 minutes.

Actors, act. People need to stop putting these people on a pedestal and falsely believing their movie characters and public persona are what they are in real life. They are all the same and if you have any connections with them they expect you to share the same belief system or you are a problem.

No different from others I have mentioned, including Mike Rowe that people seem to love in this forum. Another one I personally found to be a con-artist positioned for your benefit eventually or maybe just to rope you in to rug pull you on another political issue at the right time.

    Snopes sayeth it's true.

    12 July 2021

    Claim

A TikTok video shows actor Mel Gibson saluting former President Donald Trump at a UFC bout in Las Vegas.

That would be interesting evolution and development considerig that Mel had been for years attacked widely in media for his alleged "anti-semitism" and became hollywood outcast whereas Trump has been standing up against anti-semitism since at least 1980s and launched a global campaign for same cause in 2020.

The Passion of the Christ was an enormous box office hit in 2004, taking more than $600m worldwide after attracting huge numbers of religious filmgoers. However, it was also the source of controversy with some critics accusing Gibson of antisemitism. Jami Bernard of the New York Daily News called it "the most virulently antisemitic movie made since the German propaganda films of World War II".

Jim Caviezel claims The Passion of the Christ made him a Hollywood outcast

    Anti-Trump antisemitism
The Poway and Pittsburgh shootings are connected by hatred of Jews and hatred of Trump, who is accused of being a “Jew-lover” and hosting an administration “infested” by Jews

You are similar to Enhanced-Deficit. Back in 2015/16 you both praised Trump as if he were the Messiah. Back then I thought he was worse than Bernie because at least Bernie was honest about being a socialist. I came to see Trump as much better than expected, and you and E-D seem to hold him as an anti-Christ.

We are not putting people on pedastals. We simply appreciate when someone says or does something good. I think it's you and E-D who should stop putting people on pedestals or demonizing them. People are neither angelic nor demonic in nature. ALL people have good and bad in them. To appreciate what Mike Rowe says, for instance, is not to assume that he belongs on a pedestal, it is simply agreeing with the statement.

I think Gibson knows what goes on in Hollywood.

They are all a brand whether on or off screen. Neither reflects reality.

Even after Snopes exposed it newsbuters still claimed it was him. Talk about lost credibility.
