Constantijn's wife Princess Laurentien (really Petra) was the daughter of the Leiden University friend of Princess Beatrix, Jantien Heringa, and her husband Laurens Jan Brinkhorst, who Beatrix selected for minister.
Since marrying Constantijn, Laurentien worked for the World Wide Fund for Nature (co-founded by Prince Bernhard) and Estée Lauder as an adviser (of Trump's friends the Lauders, which also includes Lynn Forester de Rothschild as a director).
In 2009, Laurentien became a special envoy for literacy for the eugenics UNESCO.
In 2009, Laurentien started working on literacy for the European Commission.
In 2014, she founded the Kids Council (Raad van Kinderen) to get bribes from companies (like Tata steel and ING) that want some good publicity: https://www.royal-house.nl/members-r...ess-laurentien
Laurentien studied in Groningen where she joined the oldest student association of the Netherlands - Vindicat atque Polit corps.
Other (later) luminaries in the Vindicat corps:
Prince Bernhard Jr. and his wife Princess Annette, Princess Christina, Prince Maurits and his wife Princess Marilène van den Broek (daughter of another former minister, Hans van den Broek), and of course Hans Wijers.

G.J. (Hans) Wijers was such a good agent for the Dutch royals that he was even president of the national committee for the celebrations when Willem-Alexander became king of the Netherlands: https://www.dutchnews.nl/news/2013/0...dgets_says_pm/
In February 2010, Prince Constantijn became a member of the cabinet of European Commissioner for the Digital Agenda Neelie Kroes (another former Dutch minister). Constantijn became Kroes' Head of Cabinet in April 2013.
In the 1990's, Constantijn started his working career in an European Commission for none other than former minister Hans van den Broek: https://www.euractiv.com/section/fut...o-her-cabinet/
The Commission for which Constantijn and Van den Broek worked, chaired by Jacques Santer, was forced to resign over a minor technicality of financial fraud and nepotism.
Whistleblower Paul van Buitenen sent the European Parliament a report on the widespread fraud:.I found strong indications that ... auditors have been hindered in their investigations and that officials received instructions to obstruct the audit examinations ... The commission is a closed culture and they want to keep it that way, and my objective is to open it up, to create more transparency and to put power where it belongs – and that's in the democratically-elected European Parliament.
While Van Buitenen was suspended on half pay the corrupt gang, including Van den Broek and Constantijn one could assume, wasn't punished: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santer_Commission
