Haiti President Jovenel Moïse killed by group claiming to be DEA agents

    July 7, 2021

Haitian President Jovenel Moïse was assassinated in his home Wednesday by a group of unidentified gunmen who also left his wife wounded, interim Prime Minister Claude Joseph announced — calling it a “hateful, inhumane and barbaric act” as he imposed a “state of siege” on the nation.

“An unidentified group of individuals, some of whom were speaking in Spanish, attacked the private residence of the President of the Republic and mortally wounded him,” Joseph said in a statement, adding that the assailants were armed with “high-caliber weapons.”

The primary languages in the impoverished Caribbean nation of more than 11 million people some 675 miles southeast of Miami are French and Haitian Creole.

Joseph said he was now in charge of the country.

The gunmen claimed to be agents with the US Drug Enforcement Administration, the Miami Herald reported.

But sources told the paper that the assailants, one of whom spoke English with an American accent, were not with the American agency.

That sentence plopped in the middle there about languages is weird.
There is nothing to fear from globalism, free trade and a single worldwide currency, but a globalism where free trade is competitively subsidized by each nation, a continuous trade war is dictated by the WTO, and the single currency is pure fiat, fear is justified. That type of globalism is destined to collapse into economic despair, inflationism and protectionism and managed by resurgent militant nationalism.

I can visualize a round table discussion in the war room of an agency where it is discussed whether it looks better to officially deny carrying out their wetworks or whether they should use their usual toadies to "leak" it to our prestigious fifth estate to unofficially deny carrying out their wetworks.

Ready for some of those strange "coincidences" that could be fuel for those horrible conspiracy theories that we all love to hate?

Under the Haiti constitution, Haiti's chief justice René Sylvestre should take charge of the country after the President's death, but he died of COVID 2 weeks ago.

President Moise was assassinated one day after he had named Ariel Henry as the new prime minister, taking over from Interim Prime Minister Claude Joseph: https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/p...der/7893850002

After the assassination, Claude Joseph took power of Haiti, declaring a "state of siege" giving him absolute authority.

Claude Joseph holds a doctorate from the New School in New York, and taught as a professor at the universities of Connecticut and Long Island: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claude_Joseph

Joseph has boasted about talking to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, asking for "technical support for the Haitian National Police so that they can secure the population, help track down some gangs, and also to help the country hold elections in the coming days".

Two Haitian Americans from Florida and the rest were from Columbia.

    https://www.npr.org/2021/07/10/10149...-assassination

    https://news.yahoo.com/haiti-preside...175158058.html

Police Chief Charles said 26 of the suspects are Colombian and the other two are Haitian Americans.

The US-Haitian dual nationals have been named as James Solages, 35, and Joseph Vincent, 55. Both are in custody.

An investigating judge said the two had told interrogators they had been hired as translators on the internet.

The two allege that they did not know there was a plan afoot to kill the president, but believed they were to act as translators as he was arrested. Haiti's official languages are Creole and French, while the Colombians suspects speak Spanish.

The official story is that president Jovenol Moise was killed by Colombian mercenaries (like the ones fighting for Erik Prince?).
But many Haitians believe that he was murdered by his own bodyguards.

Steven Benoit, a prominent opposition politician, said:
The president was assassinated by his own guards, not by the Colombians.

he director of Colombia's police force said Friday that the Colombian suspects had been recruited to travel to Haiti by four security companies and most of them were former members of the nation's armed forces. It's common for former Colombian soldiers, who are well trained in counterinsurgency after decades of battling drug traffickers and guerrilla groups, to work for security firms in the Caribbean and elsewhere in the world.

But there have been news reports that the mercenaries may have arrived at the president's house after he was already dead. And fresh evidence suggests that the president's own security team may have been involved in the hit.

For one thing, none of the president's guards were reported injured in the attack. And records published by the Colombian magazine Semana show that top palace guard Dimitri Hérard traveled repeatedly to Colombia in the months before the killing, suggesting he might have been involved in recruiting the mercenaries. In Haiti, some have speculated that Hérard either collaborated with the foreigners in the killing or set them up to take the blame for the assassination.

Hérard, who is being investigated by U.S. officials for arms trafficking, according to a report from the Washington-based Center for Economic Policy and Research, has been asked to present himself for questioning by Haitian authorities along with other members of the president's security detail.

On Friday, prominent opposition politician Steven Benoit told Haitian radio station Magik9: “The president was assassinated by his own guards, not by the Colombians.”

Joseph, Haiti's self-declared leader, has also come under new scrutiny, with one high-profile member of the political opposition accusing him of orchestrating a coup.

Joseph's mandate has been recognized by the Organization of American States. But at home, his leadership is contested.

The remaining members of Parliament have demanded that he stand down. They say Joseph Lambert, the head of Haiti's Senate, should take over as president and Ariel Henry be confirmed as prime minister. Moise had named Henry, a neurosurgeon with little political experience, as prime minister two days before the assassination, but Henry hadn't yet been sworn in.

Adding to tensions is Joseph's recent request for U.S. military intervention.

"We’ve asked our international partners for help," Joseph told the Associated Press on Friday.

But President Biden, who has ordered the withdrawal of nearly all U.S. combat forces from Afghanistan after a largely fruitless two-decade war against the Taliban, has given no indication that he will provide military assistance to Haiti, and is unlikely to be willing to wade into another potential military quagmire.

There have been some anti-vaxxer African politicians that died very suddenly of "natural causes"...
This couldn't possibly be THE motive for assassinating Haiti's president Jovenel Moïse could it?!?

Haiti was one of the 92 poor and middle-income countries offered the COVID depopulation vaccines under the Covax Facility. Moïse's government initially declined AstraZeneca vaccines, because of "side effects" and "fears in the population".

Haiti has reported a mere 15,435 cases and 325 deaths from COVID-19: https://archive.is/c0oga

MIAMI — The plot to assassinate Haitian President Jovenel Moïse ran through South Florida, according to statements of captured Colombians who said they were hired by a Miami-area security firm.

Seventeen Colombians and two Haitian Americans from South Florida are in custody in Haiti. A person who interviewed the detained Colombians in Haiti said the men claimed to have been recruited by an under-the-radar firm in Doral called CTU Security It is run by a Venezuelan émigré, Antonio Enmanuel Intriago Valera.

The Miami Herald visited the company’s offices on Thursday, where a doorbell rang to a phone, and a man presumed to be Intriago declined to discuss the events in Haiti. He did not return phone calls, texts or emails asking about reports of involvement in the monumental developments gripping Haiti. No one answered on Saturday.

Multiple sources have confirmed to the Herald that the detained men said they were hired by CTU, and several of them indicated they had been in Haiti for at least three months, some longer.

The men were hired to provide VIP security, one source said, and were paid about $3,000 a month. The two Haitian Americans — James Solages, 35, and Vincent Joseph, 55 — told a judge that they were hired as translators but did not reveal who their employer was, Judge Clément Noël told the Miami Herald.

Those versions square with what family members of captured Colombians are now saying.

We all know that it's bad when a foreign country interferes in democratic elections... unless of course it is done by CIA-front National Endowment For Democracy (NED), in which case it's bringing "freedom and democracy" (which of course ultimately benefits the Anglo-American oligarchy).

The NED has spent decades grooming Claude Joseph, who is now in charge of Haiti, while Moise had selected Ariel Henry to replace Joseph as PM. This NED puppet is now asking the US to send troops!

Wikileaks cables show that Joseph first came to prominence in 2003 as leader of the NED student front GRAFNEH, shortly before the coup against President Jean-Bertrand Aristide.
Claude Joseph also founded the NED-funded anti-Aristide group Initiative Citoyenne (Citizens’ Initiative): https://www.mintpressnews.com/haiti-...-by-us/277898/

I don't believe it's about the colour of his skin.

I think they assassinated him because they wanted to install NED puppet Claude Joseph as president...

    That's a surprise!
Claude Joseph, the NED-controlled effective puppet leader of Haiti since Jovenel Moise was murdered, says he will step down for Ariel Henry.
That was after on Saturday, the informal bloc of foreign ambassadors - the “Core Group” — emphasised the need for a “consensual and inclusive government” put together by “designated Prime Minister Ariel Henry”.

Of course it very "democratic" if foreign countries decide who becomes the leader of Haiti...
Haiti’s Senate had earlier voted for the Senate’s president, Joseph Lambert, as Haiti's acting president, so rejected the agreement between Henry, Joseph and the "Core Group": https://archive.is/tkQqT

The following article on Haiti and the murder of the much hated "colonial puppet" Jovenel Moise, is quite good.
Haitians know there are two white women running Haiti for the global profit-over-people oligarchs. Their names are Michele Sison, the U.S. Ambassador, and Helen La Lime, the UN mission head in Haiti. They work with a confederated Core Group of former enslaving nations, called the “Core Group.” The Core Group of butchers in Haiti still preside over the holocaust in Haiti. The assassination/coup d’etat of Jovenel Moise has not altered that fact.
    (...)
The Columbians say they were set up. They are the fall guys for an inside job.
    (...)
the colonial puppet, Jovenel Moise, murdered his people, dissolved parliament in January 2020, and had rule by decree for 18 months. He was an indicted drug money launderer before he was imposed by the internationals as president. In one of his decrees he made pedophilia legal.

It sure is strange that the same Haitian police that arrested the Columbian mercenaries within a day couldn't show up when they were called by President Jovenel Moïse from his home begging for them to come and save his life before he was assassinated.

Moïse first called a police commissioner for reinforcement at 1.34am because his security didn't show up. Moïse then called another 2 cops, saying "My life is in danger. Come quick".
At 1.45am, Moïse was still alive and on the phone. The cops only came after he had been gunned down: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ssination.html
