    ..punts on "Red Flag Laws."

“Provisions of red flag laws may be challenged under the Fourth Amendment, and those cases may come before us. Our decision today does not address those issues.”

It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

Reading this article I wouldn't call it a "punt." It doesn't sound like any red flag law was specifically before specifically before the court. The Court isn't supposed to rule on issues not part of the case before them. (No saying they've never done that before...but they aren't supposed to). It sounds like Alito, at least, is willing to consider a 4th amendment challenge to red flag laws.

    I also found this interesting.

In the case, Mr. Caniglia and his wife were arguing when he put an unloaded gun on their table and said, “shoot me now and get it over with.” Following the argument, Caniglia’s wife called the non-emergency police line, leading to a visit from law enforcement. The police convinced Mr. Caniglia to go to the hospital for psychological evaluation, despite disagreeing that his behavior was “abnormal” or “agitated.”

I wonder if you'll even need to be a member of the BAR to issue one in the future. Perhaps a 'community health check specialist' with a community college certificate?

Yeah, luckily or unluckily these are lessons that only need to be learned one time.

Wonder if we will ever see class-warrants... or mass warrants for individuals belonging to a certain class.

OK warrantless gun confiscation is a no no. Why would that need to get to a supreme court in the first place ?
