For some foods, for example Green Tea or Coffee from many big brabds, single country of origin is not usually listed and "from mixed sources" is becoming increasingly common listing. Same would be case if anyone tried to look for real honey at supermarkets (almost impossible to do).
Dollars and sense mostly drive sourcing decisions of big corporations in food biz. Then there is increasing deceptive "natural" foods marketing to cash in on the growing organic/natural foods trend.

I'm amazed why people pay to drink regularly what they serve and how they have store at almost every corner in America & in the world now. It's major part of our cultural export.
Can understand emergency pick me up once in a bluemoon but for so many it's part of lifestyle.
