Exclamation Lavon Affair again? "Al Qaeda promises war on all fronts" as US prepares to withdraw troops

If ISIS, Alqaeda want US to leave Afghanistan, why are such groups trying to increase carnage and attacks in Afghanistan when US is reportedly about to start troops withdrawal?

There is no possibility that some actors benefiting from 'forever wars' could be trying to create instability in order to stop occupying Western forces exit from Afghanistan along the lines of infamous Lavon Affair terror atacks crafted by a differemt group of deep neocons who had aimed to stop Western troops exit from Egypt then?

Israel honors terrorists who bombed US-UK civilian buildings with aim to create instability and stop Western troops exit from Egypt

The Lavon Affair refers to a failed Israeli covert operation, code named Operation Susannah, conducted in Egypt in the Summer of 1954. As part of the false flag operation, a group of Egyptian Jews were recruited by Israeli military intelligence to plant bombs inside Egyptian, American and British-owned civilian targets, cinemas, libraries and American educational centers. The attacks were to be blamed on the Muslim Brotherhood, Egyptian Communists, "unspecified malcontents" or "local nationalists" with the aim of creating a climate of sufficient violence and instability to induce the British government to retain its occupying troops in Egypt's Suez Canal zone.
After Israel publicly denied any involvement in the incident for 51 years, the surviving agents were officially honored in 2005 by being awarded certificates of appreciation by Israeli President Moshe Katzav.

Former Afghan President Karzai Calls Islamic State 'Tool' of US
    April 19, 2017
KABUL AND WASHINGTON — Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Wednesday called the Islamic State terror group a "tool" of the United States, and dismissed criticism of Russia for its ties with Taliban and efforts to bring the militant group into peace talks.
"After it [the U.S.] dropped the bomb on Afghanistan, it did not eliminate Daesh," Karzai said, referring to last week's "mother of all bombs [MOAB]" attack against Islamic State.
"I consider Daesh their tool," Karzai told VOA's Afghan service in an exclusive interview in Kabul, using the Arabic acronym for IS. "I do not differentiate at all between Daesh and America."

Probably was just coincidence, when calls for US troops withdrawal from Iraq had escalated last year, somewhat similar pattern was visible there also:

ISIS Attacks Surge in Iraq Amid Debate on U.S. Troop Levels

The growing pressure on the United States to reduce its military presence in Iraq comes as strikes by the Islamic State are on the rise.

    June 10, 2020
As American and Iraqi negotiators begin a new round of strategic talks on Thursday, the question of how to respond to the Islamic State’s quiet resurgence — and how much American help is required to do so — will be at the center of the discussion.
There are currently about 5,200 American troops in Iraq, whose main missions are counterterrorism and training Iraqi forces.
The Trump administration, which sees the American presence as crucial for tamping down the resurgence of ISIS and as a bulwark against Iranian power in Iraq, wants to keep a substantial force there.
“We’re going to continue to maintain forces as long as the Iraqi government is willing to have U.S. and coalition forces present in the country until the enduring defeat of Daesh is accomplished, and it’s not yet accomplished,” James F. Jeffrey, the American special envoy to the region, said in a briefing on Friday, using the Arabic acronym for ISIS. “That’s our policy.”

I guess you're not referring to Hushang Ansary (a.k.a. Ansari), who was trustee for the Trump Victory joint fundraising committee and donated $2 million to the Trump Inaugural Committee (that's less than Adelson).

Ansary had been minister in the Shah's Iranian government and was also Iran’s Ambassador to the US from 1967-1969.

At least 25 killed, 52 wounded in blast near Kabul girls' school

    By Jennifer Hauser, CNN
    Sat May 8, 2021

An injured school student is transported to a hospital after the explosion on Saturday.

(CNN)At least 25 people have been killed and 52 others wounded in an explosion near a high school for girls in the Afghan capital, Kabul.

The Ministry of Interior (MOI) said the blast happened close to the Sayeed-ul-Shuhada School in the Dasht-e-Barchi area on Saturday afternoon.
MOI spokesperson Tariq Arian said the number of casualties could increase.
Officials have not revealed the cause of the explosion, or if there was a target. There has been no claim of responsibility yet.
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mojahid denied involvement in the explosion in a message to the media.

According to Afghanistan's Tolo News, the incident happened when students were leaving the school. "A car bomb blast happened first, and then two more explosions occurred near the girls school in Kabul," said Ibrahim, a schoolteacher, according to Tolo. He added that the majority of victims are girls, Tolo reports.

Drug money's role in Afghan freedom war project is a badly kept secret, other aspects have been a factor too.. such as keeping pressure on Iran from both sides (Iraq and Afghanistan), China, minerals, contractors gravy train etc. Iran has influence in Afghanistan as it does in Syria.
That Reagan-Yunis Khalis meet and poppy connection seems credible, their leader's publicized message offering Reagan to become an Islamic convert may have been for consumption for domestic/foreign fighters waging violent Jihad (that Congress and MSM narrated as freedom fighting) against 'Russians Infidels'.

Arming Afghan Guerrillas: A Huge Effort Led by U.S.

By Robert Pear, Special To the New York Times
    April 18, 1988
With help from China and many Moslem nations, the United States led a huge international operation over the last eight years to arm the Afghan guerrillas with the weapons they needed to drive the Soviet Army from their country.
The operation is one of the biggest ever mounted by the Central Intelligence Agency, according to American officials and foreign diplomats. It dwarfs American efforts to aid the Nicaraguan rebels, but its details are much less widely known because it encountered little opposition in Congress.

Indeed, Congress was continually prodding the C.I.A., the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the State Department to provide more support for the Afghan guerrillas, who limped along with relatively ineffective weapons until they got Stinger antiaircraft missiles in September 1986. They used the missiles to shoot down armored Soviet helicopter gunships, and as a result, the guerrillas and their supply caravans have been able to move with much less fear of being attacked from the air. Cost Totals $2 Bil

    * Arming the rebels has cost the United States more than $2 billion over eight years, although the exact amounts of appropriations are secret because the operation is not officially acknowledged by Washington. The program has had strong bipartisan support in Congress throughout.

    * The Government of Saudi Arabia has generally matched the United States financial contributions, providing money in a joint fund with Washington to buy hundreds of Stingers for the Islamic guerrillas even though Congress would not permit such sophisticated weapons to be sold to the Saudis themselves. In addition, several wealthy Saudi princes, motivated by a sense of religious duty and solidarity, gave cash contributions to the guerrillas.

Other direct points of contact between the US government and mujahideen include the CIA flying Hekmatyar to the United States, where he was hosted by State Department official Zalmay Khalizad. Hekmatyar was invited to meet with President Reagan but refused, and was replaced at the White House's October 1985 conference with mujahideen by Younis Khalis, who publicly invited Reagan to convert to Islam. CIA agent Howard Hart developed a personal relationship with Abdul Haqwhich led to the Afghan meeting both Reagan and Margaret Thatcher. Assistant Secretary of Defense Richard Armitage regularly met with mujahideen, particularly Burhanuddin Rabbani. CIA agents are also known to have given direct cash payments to Jalaluddin Haqqani.

Haqqani Network - National Counterterrorism Center
Jalaluddin later allied with the Afghan Taliban as that group's Minister of Tribal and ... during the al-Qa'ida founder's formative years in the 1980s Afghan war. ... in 2012 designated the Haqqani Network as a Foreign Terrorist Organization ...

State Dept is staying steadfast on withdraw plan going by this report:

Terror Attacks Surge in Afghanistan as U.S. Withdraws

    By Michael Kugelman

Onlookers stand near the site of multiple blasts outside a girls’ school in Dasht-e-Barchi, Kabul, on May 9. WAKIL KOHSAR/AFP via Getty Images
    May 13, 2021, 6:00 PM

The highlights this week: The U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan plays out against a rapidly deteriorating security situationAfghanistan’s Worsening Violence

Even by its own standards, Afghanistan has seen a horrifically violent few weeks. Nearly 400 security forces and civilians were killed in April, according to New York Times data—the largest monthly total since November 2020. And the violence appears to be getting worse: Nearly 200 people were killed during the first week of May alone, including students killed near their school this week in the worst attack in 2021 so far.

On April 30, a car bomb near a guesthouse in Logar province killed 27 people, many of them high school students. On Sunday, a roadside bomb ripped through a passenger bus in Zabul province, killing at least 11 people. And last Saturday, the country suffered its deadliest terror attack in months when a blast outside a school in Kabul killed 85 people, most of them young girls. With dozens more injured, the death toll is expected to rise.

Increasing violence is not a new trend: The number of civilian casualties in Afghanistan has increased in the last year, and the last six weeks have been especially brutal. What makes these attacks even more terrifying is no group has claimed responsibility. The Taliban and the Islamic State are possible candidates as are other actors trying to disrupt the already troubled peace process. Many Afghans have taken out their anger on the government for not protecting them—discontent that benefits insurgents and others seeking to undermine Kabul.
The surge in violence won’t change U.S. plans to withdraw all troops in Afghanistan by Sept. 11 at the latest and possibly as soon as early July. On Monday, State Department spokesperson Ned Price confirmed the plans are on track, and U.S. President Joe Biden has justified his withdrawal decision by citing the diminished terrorist threat to the United States. Relentless attacks on Afghans, horrific as they are, will not affect the U.S. exit strategy.

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Three bombs rattled the Afghan capital Kabul late Tuesday killing at least 10 people and plunging the city into darkness, an Afghan government spokesman said.

Two bombs exploded in quick succession in separate locations of a west Kabul neighborhood, killing at least 10 people and wounding a dozen others, said deputy Interior Ministry spokesman Said Hamid Rushan.
A third bomb heavily damaged an electrical grid station in north Kabul, said Sangar Niazai, a spokesman for the government power supply department.
The initial two bombings, both targeting minivans, happened in a mostly ethnic Hazara area of the capital, said Rushan.
