Exclamation Romney: For ‘National Unity,’ Republicans Must Publicly Say Biden Won Legitimately

I'm not even sure that there was bull$#@! beyond the bull$#@! that normally swirls around any US election.

And you can eat bag of dicks, Mittens, before I say that.

$#@! you and the horse you ride in on.

Romney: For ‘National Unity,’ Republicans Must Publicly Say Biden Won Legitimately

    Pam Key 28 Jan 2021

Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) during an online forum presented by the Economic Club of Chicago on Tuesday said Republicans must publicly announce President Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election legitimately to achieve national unity.

Romney said, “There is no question that the nation is divided now, and there is a lot of anger. To the people on my side who say an impeachment trial is going to inflame passions more. I say, first of all, have you gone out publicly and said that there was not widespread voter fraud and that Joe Biden is the legitimate president of the United States? If you said that, then I’m happy to listen to you talk about other things that might inflame anger and divisiveness. But if you haven’t said that, that’s really what’s at the source of the anger right now. There are many, many Republicans, almost three-quarters, who believe democracy itself has been stolen. That a very passioned perspective. You’ve got to have that get to the rearview mirror before you talk about the next stage.”

He continued, “I would also say if you want to see national unity, you really have to rely on truth and justice. Justice being carried out is something which the American people expect. Five people died with the attack on the Capitol. Five human beings died. There’s no question but that the president incited the insurrection that occurred. To what degree and so forth is something we’re going to evaluate in the trial that will proceed. How culpable is he? That’s something we will evaluate. But to simply say, ‘Well, we’re gonna just move on because we need to be united,’ would not be, I think, consistent with the history of justice as applied in our country. And I believe it’s an element of unity, which I look forward to having resolved so that we can move on.”

Man, these politicians really hate that the plebes won't just voluntarily step into this fantasy land with them. It's the typical socialist dilemma. If everyone just played along with the storyline nicely, then utopia would appear. Whether that be elections, masks, social engineering, monetary policy, how to share the fruits of your labor.... It's all the same.

And instead of realizing that maybe there's a flaw in there ideology, they get mad and take aim at the dissenters. You know, because it's the dissenters' fault - not their mistaken understanding of human nature.

That pillar of bipartisanship, David Axelrod, was moderating the event and ensured that Herr Romney stayed on-script with leading questions. Full event can be found in the YouTube video below.

And, once again, THIS is the piece of filth that Rand Paul told us all to support.

I wouldn't have voted for Romney if Rand held a gun to my head, yet many were eager to run out to the voting booth to do just that.

That was the END Of the Ron Paul Revolution. Very sad. Can it be rebuilt?

Sure it will, that's what the system wants, and, combined with the fact that the average AmeriKunt has the attention span of a flea, I suspect you're 100 correct.

That does not make Mittens any less of an establishment $#@!wad.

My evil mind wants to make a concession if he eats and bag of dicks in public we will say the election wasn't stolen. But, he is mad because Trump said he could make him go on his knees and give him a little blow for some position he wanted.

National unity my ass. If Democrats and RINOS wanted unity, they wouldn't label 75 million Americans that voted for Trump domestic terrorists. What they really want is compliance with a loaded gun.

There is no reason to bring Rand into this thread on Romney.

Throughout history, 3% has been consistent. In the future, the 3% will wonder why their Ron Paul candidate got screwed out of election.

The r3VOLution was not seeking a politician or a republican. We were seeking Individualism, freedom and fiscal responsibility.

Conservatives have done nothing wrong. Nothing will appease the left. Where was this unity call in 2017 or 2019? This is like the Democrat Mayors that think they are all tight with BLM and going to Defund the Police to placate the people. Does it work? No. Some people will never be satisfied.

Rand Paul on the inside throwing RINOs the occasional bone combined with us barbarians lobbying the snot out of them could have made the GOP better than it is, especially if we carried through with our threats to primary the obstinate ones. Instead, he threw them one meaningless bone that accomplished exactly nothing, and a portion of us used it as an excuse to lapse back into apathy.

This horse is eight years dead. Beating it makes no difference to the horse. But it does amount to shooting ourselves in the foot.

Want to rebuild the r3volution? Stop beating our people up for trying to trade meaningless trinkets for the things we need.

Why does it always seem like the people who say that Rand's making a lesser-of-two-evils argument in 2012 was an unforgivable sin are the very same ones who then turn around and insist that choosing the lesser of two evils in 2016 and 2020 was a righteous deed that was mandatory for all of us?

Rand endorsed Romney over his own father for political expediency.

Ron was still active in the primary and still collecting money in an attempt to sway delegates and voters at the convention and beyond when Rand endorsed Romney.

It was either grift or backstabbing treachery or a monumental $#@! up of timing.

    Probably all three.

I lost a great deal of respect for both men that day, and for what?

A worthless endorsement of a worthless politician who lost spectacularly anyway.

How much better off we all would be if Rand had just done the right thing in the first place, abstained from endorsing until after the convention and said, "my father is still in this campaign, and as long as he is, I support my dad, period".
