They know what their tv channel of choice tells them, they know what the maybe/maybe not real people online tell them, but in speaking person to person all the hate melts away into confusion and anger. Which is something everyone can identify with in these days. Decouple from online.

You can ignore anything you like,,that is your right.

but it is more serious reality here.
Nothing you said in anyway contradicted what @belian78 said. What is 5% of the overall population of Portland? Over 650,000. Take 5% of that and you have 32,500. A mob a quarter of that size, left unchecked, can do a lot of damage. But here's the rub. There are idiots on BOTH sides! And each side uses the other sides idiots to justify further escalation. Both sides need to chill. But neither side will. This is the way things were in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s. The national socialists were battling the international socialists and authoritarianism won.

Neither side wants to be the loser, so we all will lose, everything.

    Sides?

I would like to be less Phucked with,,and more left alone..

and that is now a crime.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Just what, two weeks ago you were lambasting me about how safe you are up there in your little corner of the US with everyone practicing for the boogaloo. Now you're talking about not being left alone to live the way you want. Which is it? I think everyone needs to put down the 'I'm about to catch on fire' rhetoric and use critical thinking skills. We all know what is coming, we should be intelligent enough to find other like minded people and think of a way to live as free beings outside the current system.

Live your life as you want to live your life. If you can't do it where you're at, then maybe it's time to think about relocating. No, it's never too late and no you never have too many family to move. You're still alive, so you can still move. If you dont want to move, find a way to live the way you want until you can't.

    Relocating where?

I have lived in several different parts of this country,, I know of no place that is not Phucked right now.

This area is where my wife is from, and has family around. There are well regulated militia in the area..

I'll stand with the community here,, I have met some good ones.
