The task for the next two years is to institute fraud-proof elections, Canada and the rest of the Western world has all hand counted paper ballots.
They will not goad us into civil war. That is what they want. We will rise to this and prevail, and with their cover of the corrupt to the core election system gone, we will flush the swamp in 2 years once and for all. The new congressmen will then impeach the Pretender, impeach Harris, and install the new Republican Speaker of the House.

The state houses still run elections. That is where the battle will be fought. Who gets sent to Congress still is up to the state houses, and most of them are red albeit filled with RINOs. They are the first to get rid of. Of course they will defend the system that keeps them there. That will be the house to house, street to street hard fighting.

Yep. This is where the action needs to happen. Everyone MUST keep up the pressure on State representatives to insist on election reforms.

Obviously, last year was a joke election. Most states threw out their own rules and instituted a slipshod process, ripe for abuse. If the political pressure remains, there may be hope to insist on in-person election day only voting with precinct by precinct counts of paper ballots, and absentees for strict reasons and with safeguards.

I can see Texas and PA both tightening their rules. Not sure about the others.

A continent-spanning mass democracy of a third of a billion people is simply not tenable.

On such a scale, the "will of the people" cannot be "represented" in any effective and non-dysfunctional way.

As much as anything else, this is because "the people" are a heterogeneous mass that does not have any coherent "will" that can meaningfully be "represented."

Even if one is so foolish as to privilege "the will of the people" above all else, such a system will never represent the will of anything other than the system itself, except cosmetically.

State representatives are much different from congressmen. Their districts are about 1/10 the size and can easily be door-knocked by a determined challenger three times in a year. Most people have been asleep to the fact that they even have state reps and state senators, but now all eyes are on those who betrayed the voters and went along with certifying garbage election results. Most state reps are cross-eyed hacks who can't get a real job, not men of principle and ability. It is time for them to go.

That seems like where we have arrived . An awful lot of it though is due to the ignorance and laziness of the avg. Pretty sure that isnt getting better .
