Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, writing in the Bangor Daily News:
“My first thought was that the Iranians had followed through on their threat to strike the Capitol, but a police officer took over the podium and explained that violent demonstrators had breached the entire perimeter of the Capitol and were inside.”

Trump reportedly told associates he killed Iran's Soleimani because he was under pressure

Susan Collins Thought It Was the Iranians
Either (1) she really did think this, or (2) she didn't, but claims that she did in hopes that idiots will actually believe her.

I'm not sure which of those possibilities makes her a bigger jackass.
