Thread: GA Senate candidate Raphael Warnock being pressured to change his stance on Israel?

Post GA Senate candidate Raphael Warnock being pressured to change his stance on Israel?

Deep neocons pro-war lobbies tools had pressured America's first minority President in some very low lifery ways over his hesitation to blindly stand with our closest ally in mideast by starting US taxpayers funded militant interventions against Iran/Syria etc.
Is GA's minority senate candidate Raphael Warnock now being pressured by same lobbies pawns to change his stance on US Foreign policy?

Raphael Warnock takes heat from rabbis for Israel comments
    December 19, 2020
The Democratic Warnock is facing off against GOP incumbent Sen. Kelly Loeffler. Polls show an incredibly tight race.
For months Warnock has been dogged by allegations of being anti-Israel — an issue a growing number of Democrats have faced as their left flank has grown more ascendent.
Rabbi Feldman cited a letter Warnock signed, along with other clergy in 2018, that compared Israel’s presence in the West Bank to “military occupation of Namibia by apartheid South Africa” and another sermon the same year in which he accused Israelis of shooting down “unarmed Palestinian sisters and brothers like birds of prey.”

"The president doesn't want to see even one cement mixer in the West Bank," an Israeli political source, briefed by Netanyahu aides, quoted U.S. Middle East envoy George Mitchell telling an Israeli delegation that met him in London last week.
Possible scenarios for twisting Netanyahu's arm could range from U.S. inaction at the United Nations in thwarting resolutions critical of Israel to choking off some military supplies, political sources and commentators said.

Publisher of the ‘Atlanta Jewish Times’ suggests Mossad should assassinate Obama over US Iran policy
Adam Horowitz on January 20, 2012

    John Cook reports at Gawker:
Andrew Adler, the owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times, a weekly newspaper serving Atlanta’s Jewish community, devoted his January 13, 2012 column to the thorny problem of the U.S. and Israel’s diverging views on the threat posed by Iran. Basically Israel has three options, he wrote: Strike Hezbollah and Hamas, strike Iran, or “order a hit” on Barack Obama. Either way, problem solved!
Here’s how Adler laid out “option three” in his list of scenarios facing Israeli president Benjamin Netanyahu (the column, which was forwarded to us by a tipster, isn’t online, but you can read a copy here):

Three, give the go-ahead for U.S.-based Mossad agents to take out a president deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for the current vice president to take his place, and forcefully dictate that the United States’ policy includes its helping the Jewish state obliterate its enemies.
Yes, you read “three” correctly. Order a hit on a president in order to preserve Israel’s existence. Think about it. If I have thought of this Tom Clancy-type scenario, don’t you think that this almost unfathomable idea has been discussed in Israel’s most inner circles?
Another way of putting “three” in perspective goes something like this: How far would you go to save a nation comprised of seven million lives…Jews, Christians and Arabs alike?
You have got to believe, like I do, that all options are on the table.

‘NYT’ covers up Warnock flipflop under pressure from Israel lobby

By Philip Weiss January 4, 2021

The New York Times just ran a lengthy profile of the Rev. Raphael Warnock, a Democratic candidate for the Senate in Georgia, that is propaganda for the Israel lobby. With a headline announcing that Warnock “Doesn’t Shy From ‘Uncomfortable’ Truths,” the article portrays Warnock as a bold progressive and covers up one of the big moments of his campaign this fall, when he folded under pro-Israel pressure and renounced earlier comments that were sharply critical of Israel: in 2018 Warnock sermonized that Israel had shot down unarmed Palestinian protesters “like birds of prey” and in 2019 he signed on to a letter comparing aspects of the Israeli occupation to apartheid South Africa.

Though ties to controversial group PBs are cited, does not appear to be related to any larger pro-wars lobbying interest:

A New York City man accused of plotting a violent attack on the US Capitol last week had allegedly threatened to kill newly-elected Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock and had boasted about traveling to Washington D.C. with a caravan of 'armed patriots' on social media.

Eduard Florea, 40, was taken into custody on Tuesday after the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force descended on his home on Elliot Avenue and 76th Street in Middle Village, Queens.

He was seen surrendering to authorities in the middle of the residential street during the afternoon raid before being placed in an armored vehicle.

Florea, who is reported to have ties to white supremacist group the Proud Boys, appeared in Brooklyn Federal Court on Wednesday where he is facing felony weapons charges.

Prosecutors said federal law enforcement officers seized 1,000 hollow point rounds of ammunition during the raid as well as 75 military-style knives, two hatchets, and two swords, according to a criminal complaint.

On a side note, "white supremacist group Proud Boys" fakenews label as cited in above news story seems to be everywhere in media reporting.

The Zionazis own Congress- so an attack on Syria, Iran and a WW3 will occur with or without his help.

He knew , or should have known , that those millions spent on electing him had strings attached.
