I would have called it a hoax, not declared a state of emergency, not funded Warp Speed, & told Fauci & the CDC to go to hell.

Any Trump supporter that believes this was some kind of masterful stroke of negotiating prowess is a moron. This is heavily reminiscent of Reagan's amnesty in terms of signing off on something in return for a bunch of empty promises.

Trump fashioned himself a supporter of the arts, arguing that the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is deserving of assistance given its inability to put on shows as officials ban large gatherings to try to curb the spread of the virus.
"I’m a fan of that," Trump said of the funding. "I haven’t spent time there because I’m far too busy. I’d love to go there evenings, but I’m too busy doing things."

Government actions that were enabled by the stimulus Trump signed last spring and are being further enabled by this one. Trump is literally funding the very same injuries to our nation's economy that you're talking about.
