Sneaky feds want to remove anonymity from crypto

One of the most important aspects of cryptocurrencies from a civil liberties perspective is that they can provide privacy protections for their users. But EFF is concerned that the U.S. government has been increasingly taking steps to undermine the anonymity of cryptocurrency transactions and importing the widespread financial surveillance of the traditional banking system to cryptocurrencies.

On Friday, the Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) announced a proposed regulation that would require money service businesses (which includes, for example, cryptocurrency exchanges) to collect identity data about people who transact with their customers using self-hosted cryptocurrency wallets or foreign exchanges. The proposed regulation would require them to keep that data and turn it over to the government in some circumstances (such as when the dollar amount of transactions in a day exceeds a certain threshold).

The proposal appears designed to be a midnight regulation pushed through before the end of the current presidential administration, as its 15-day comment period is unusually short and coincides with the winter holiday. The regulation’s authors write that this abbreviated comment period is required to deal with the “threats to United States national interests” posed by these technologies, but they provide no factual basis for this claim.

They’ve been hinting vaguely for years that the next update is going to be an improvement but it’s getting late in the game..

Well folks, I hate to say it but the one thing we are missing during this bull$#@! Plandemic is the fact that the Dollar is getting thrown in the Ditch. You dont increase the "economy" by printing up TRILLIONS and giving it to your buddies on Wall St and Foreign Interests without Inflation. If you look at the Money Supply, we hit the Hockey Stick. HYPERINFLATION IS HERE. NOW.

There WILL be a Replacement Currency. It will be Fiat, of course. Maybe Global, maybe not, probably Chinese backed. And just like our last Fiat Currency, it WILL be used to control you and keep you "poor". Each iteration just gets worse and worse.

Cash and Paper Money had some anonymity with it. When your currency has NO ANONYMITY WHAT SO EVER, then EVERY transaction is subject to approval. So lets list some things you cant do with a Non Anonymous Digital Currecy

- Not Pay Taxes
- Buy a Gun
- Buy some Weed
- Pay for ANY Alternative Medical Treatment
- Give your kid an Allowance
- Be late on a bill
- Loan your neighbor some money
- Borrow money from your neighbor
- Pay someone under the table
- Be paid under the table
- Buy from an Unapproved Vendor because it hurts Walmarx and Amazon
- Have a quantity of money tomorrow that has the same value as it did today
- Have a Savings Acct that actually retains the VALUE of your currency
- Have a Future according to your own will
- Decide for yourself what you should spend money on
- Have ANY control over your life AT ALL

If you bought some of Alex Jones' vitamins, then your cost of living just went up. Why? "Soft Kill". Discuss the constitution? Cost of Living just went up for you. Speak ill of the Communists in office? Cost of living just went up. And do ANYTHING they "disapprove" of like "Free Thinking" or even asking a $#@!ing question and your Cost of Living will continue to go up up up until it kills you.

Just so they can run a last gasp tax rape on the coiners that didn't declare every little transaction they made the last three years, believing the obvious lie that coins were anonymous (while handing over every little piece of ID info to coinbase to open a wallet lol). Then the bankers declare non-Fedcoin cryptos to be illegal securities and terrorist financing vehicles right before flash crashing the price, while hodlers are locked out of their accounts due to "technical issues".

I don't understand why coiners think the Great Reset doesn't apply to cryptos also.
