    The real end:

But even if you're a non-believer, doesn't it make the most sense to do the things that will help you and your family once things "end badly" like learning how to live outside of modern socialist society and network with other like minded people?

While that should certainly be done, there may be other considerations Jim, depending on one's time preference.

I've said before, with no one paying attention to it, and I'll say it again; we are the monks of Ireland in the (late) 5th century.

Time to haul in the sheets and batten the hatches and make sure that the next generation, or some small fraction thereof, knows something.

And that's fine, admirable, but I would just suggest that you consider the possibility that there is a way for people in general to be more free.

...and not by evading federal income tax or whatever, but by creating a system in which federal income tax does not exist at all.

    ...THAT should be the goal.

As long as there are parasites and a political party - the Demo Rats - to represent them - there will be an “income tax”.

As long as people are voting, there will be the creeping socialism which will destroy this country.

Don't you see (rhetorical question)? You vote for [insert clown] because he talks tough to forgettable-name-person who doesn't matter.

...& you don't notice how he spends trillions of dollars & dramatically advances socialism (because you don't really know what the word means).

Ummmmm....I'm pretty sure that's what @PAF is doing. Helping to create a parallel system. Same with @CCTelander. You say that it's impossible to fix the current system so what is your solution?

There. IFIFY. No party will ever eliminate income tax, or any other tax, or relinquish power and control to the Individual.

That's true, if by parallel system you mean to refer to a handful of people evading income tax, which will have no effect on anything.

    That isn't what I meant.

You say that it's impossible to fix the current system so what is your solution?
The problem is democracy. The solution is the end of democracy. Wait a while.

Pay attention. Fascism was adopted in 1913 and cemented during the FDR era.

I do not recall that there was a capitalism vs fascism referendum during the 2020 election.

    So avoid digressions.

You think that the present "fascist" arrangement should not be challenged, because it is both good, bad, and the work of the Jesuits?

When were you last abducted by space people?

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

The present FASCIST arrangement was challenged by Ms Jo Jorgensen.

    How well did she do.

In 1943 Libertarian activist Isabel Paterson advocated for the abolition of government schools. She predicted that those institutions would become incubators for government supremacy.

    But no one listened.

How is a rejection of Progressive policy, and opposition to a Stolen Election ,, an endorsement of the GOP?

or are you really that phucking dense?

Do you know why you think the election was stolen?

More importantly, do you know why you think it matters?

Therefore, whatever you're doing, however helpful it might be for you on the margin, is not solving the problem.

    Yes?
    WRONG.

If everyone took responsibility for themselves & told .gov to shove off, the problem would be immediately fixed. Unfortunately, public school was formed to make you a compliant factory worker.
