40 states receive more in federal spending than they pay in federal taxes. Virginia has the deepest deficit at more than $10,000 per resident. Of the 10 states with a surplus, 8 are Democrat and 2 are Republican. The state with the largest surplus is Connecticut, paying net $4,000 per resident.

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Thanks for the info! Its a start. I'd like to see it to include ALL government (Federal) that each receives. i.e. What is the total Federal Funding California receives for ALL the programs it borrows for? Not just for SNAP per se.

It was estimated at $376 billion for 2015.

    https://lao.ca.gov/Publications/Report/3531/1

If you adjust that for inflation ($413.6 billion by official CPI), that probably gives you a decent estimate of current spending.

The article cited puts it at $436.1 billion (which almost seems like a typo for the above).

Keep in mind that's gross spending. Net is about $0.

    The top three:

    Social Security $82.6 2015
    Medicare $69.2 2015
    Medicaid $54.7 FY 2014-15

This probably reflects the same across other states as well.

    +rep - thanks for posting.

It seems to me that many of you fail to grasp that neocons are still embedded deep into our government on the Federal and State level. Trump has exposed their corruption with this election along with the Chinese virus and has begun the purge. I don't believe there will be a revolution. I think SCOTUS decides against PA and the house of cards they built comes crashing down. Hopefully he uses scotus ruling as a means to use the insurrection act against them. If that happens, there will be more like an ethnic cleansing of neocons. If Trump does not get scotus backing and congress elects Biden.....a revolution is surely coming. Count on it.

No problem, and yes, we have Commissars Roosevelt and Johnson to thank for the bulk of the current welfare state.

No. The problem is, the likes of Cristy, Romney, McCain, Huntsman, Kasich, Perry, Rubio, Ryan, etc. were all voted in by the republican People, *multiple times*, because the republican People only saw the "R" after the name. They refused to look at Records and Follow the Money. Then Trump (D) comes up, registers as an R, and of course the republican People flock like flies on $#@! to him. He passes everything that is in his On The Record which funded the very things the People would have been AGAINST had Obama, Biden, Hitlery or any other democrat done it. But Trump gets the pass.

Furthermore, as for the Chinese virus, did it really originate in China? Or was it exploited? Did China force us into lockdown like Republican Governor DeWine did? But, blame them over there, because it is the easy thing to do, and to protect "Republican" DeWine.

Time and again, the People have not a single clue as to what the House passes because they Never Read The Bills. And when it bites them in the ass, they blame the other side.

For example: I just posted a Bill earlier today that funds and provides "rights" for the TSA. Instead of contacting your reps and senators on BOTH sides of the aisle TODAY, you are still going on and on about who will be "The King". I called by rep and senator today. Did you?

"Deep State" my ass. Look at Records, Read the Bills and Follow the Money. I'll bet they didn't teach that to you in school.

First off, I'm not getting into arguments about who to point the finger at from someone who posts their "proof" from CNN.
Second, most of those Rhinos ran on promises that they did not keep and people were dooped into voting for them or there were no other candidates running and people will vote for an R before they vote for a D and vice versa.
3rd, DeWine is NOT a republican, he is another Rhino
4th, Trump has reversed a lot of what Obama has done and yet you claim otherwise like the DU parrot you are. Forget all the good he has done, look at this from CNN...lmao
5th, never assume ANYTHING about me. You have no idea what I do or who I am. You like to attack others first with your passive aggressive narcissistic comments thinking you are smarter than others....lmao
Read my sig, should give you a hint about my beliefs, although CNN might debunk that for you....smdh

Still in denial, I see. You have yet to refute the following, so I will take it that you have absolutely nothing (other than a picture of Pelosi) that proves to the contrary.

The following are from house.gov, ustr.gov, Reuters, and a youtube of those words coming directly out of Trump's own mouth.

But, you can't, so you won't. Have a great evening.

PS: That sure is a lot of United Nations and Gates-tied companies FUNDING, don't you think? And also for the record, it's RINO (Republican In Name Only), not Rhino lol

Devastating as the riots have been for some, Antifa is an irritation, warranting an application of Gold Bond on the body politic: nothing more. It's not terminal cancer. That, plus unlimited free money to make most whole, or more than whole, isn't the stuff of which revolutions are made. I'll keep saying it until you get tired of hearing it, supposing you haven't already, the revolution will begin exactly when the money runs out and not one minute sooner, which is why economics is everything. Fight back and forth over [insert culture war issue, election fraud issue, etc, etc]. None of it will really matter until there's no more free$#@! to buy off the loser (or "winner," to the extent that his victory leaves him poorer than before, See Mussolini). Then, watch out.

It’s a direct, and massive example of what you brought up. Your example was one person. Antifa attacks would be impossible to count at this point.

    Think about it this way.

You have neighbors, friends, coworkers, etc - perhaps more inclined to skepticism of the status quo than most.

How many of them do you think are willing to run into machine gun fire while they have money for rent/mortgage, food, etc?

I would guess round about none of them.

    Therefore, no revolution.
