Civil disobedience is the solution for this COVID-19 madness

A show of serious strength and resolve NOW, with the real possibility of beating back this tyrannical bull$#@! with LITTLE or NO bloodshed, or massive bloodshed later with much less if any possibility of victory. Which will it be?

Civil disobedience is the solution for this COVID-19 madness

By Cheryl K. Chumley - The Washington Times - Monday, November 16, 2020
    ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Scott Atlas, the medical professional who’s been tasked under President Donald Trump to help decide best coronavirus practices and policies, called for citizens, particularly in Michigan, particularly in tyrannically-governed Michigan, to “rise up” and fight unconstitutional crackdowns from overreaching, overbearing public servants.

    He’s right.

The longer this coronavirus madness goes on, the more apparent it becomes: civil disobedience and only civil disobedience will rein in the, well, madness.

Here’s what Atlas said, via Twitter: “The only way this stops is if people rise up. You get what you accept. #FreedomMatters. #StepUp.”

He also tweeted this, an apparent clarification: “Hey, I NEVER was talking at all about violence. People vote, people peacefully protest. NEVER would I endorse or incite violence. NEVER!!”

His tweets came after Michigan’s resident-in-tyranny Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced new crackdowns on freedoms due to, sigh, sigh, once again, the coronavirus. Specifically, she announced a three-week ban on indoor dining; on in-person learning in high schools and in colleges and universities; on in-person working “when work can be done from home;” on organized sports; on theater, movie, stadium, and arena attendance; on bowling, on ice skating, on indoor water park play; on bingo-ing in bingo halls, on gambling in casinos; and on going to the gym to take group fitness classes.

    I am zee law.

Happily, she didn’t ban the buying of seeds this time.

She also graciously allowed for the playing of professional sports — minus the spectators — and for the mourning at funerals, so long as not more than 25 were in attendance.

Strangely, preschools, kindergartens, elementary schools and middle schools through grade eight, along with day cares, can remain open. Because the coronavirus only infects the higher grade levels?

Anyhow, Whitmer, as expected, expressed shock and awe — shock and awe! — at Atlas’s tweets.

“It actually took my breath away, to tell you the truth,” she told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” in reference to the tweets.

But here’s the thing, America: At what point do coronavirus crackdowns on freedoms become unacceptable?

At what point is the breaking point?

Founding Fathers knew well the reluctance of a people to “rise up,” as Atlas put it, and cast off an unjust government. They wrote, in fact, in the Declaration of Independence that “all experience hath shown, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”

    True.

Look around at all the face mask-wearing people, take note of all the business closings and church attendance limits, take a gander at all the kids home from school and it’s clear: “Mankind are more disposed to suffer.”

But these same Founding Fathers also wrote this: “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government.”

    Peaceably, if possibly.

    Are we there yet?

If Michigan were the only state, if Whitmer were the only governor, taking this coronavirus chaos and running roughshod over personal rights, maybe America could afford to ride out the storm, wait out the virus, patiently obey all the orders.

But the nonsense is widespread, from California to Michigan to Virginia to Massachusetts.

Atlas is right. Founders were right.

Civil disobedience is the only way to reel in the madness. Americans must beat back the health bureaucrats and political opportunists now — or forever wear the face mask. Forever cede freedoms. Forever give government the right to rule, not serve

THIS is the real story, the one deserving of everyone's full attention. So naturally most people in the political wing ofbthe liberty movement are directing their ire, their attention and most of their other resources at the election, almost completely ignoring it as TPTB put the finishing touches on the medico-fascist police state they've already constructed around us. Great.

I have read about people wanting to organize a group no mask movement into big box stores. I also think the election and the virus fear are interconnected. Its a control mechanism to quickly destroy populist movements.

I would love to join a group of hundreds of people who decide to hit up big box stores maskless. One big barrage of people, just like BLM and antifa do!

The problem is that the media and fear tactics have the majority of the mob right where they want them: at the point where they police themselves. This has led to everything from having the police called on you, even if you're minding your own business and are "social distancing" to even being physically attacked by said tattlers.

Why do people want to spread a very contagious illness regardless of the mortality rate? Isn't this a drag on the economy and medical staff who have to deal with the spikes in hospitalizations?

Okay I'm seeing reports of El Paso now having trouble with the hospitalization and fatality load. Are they just a $#@!ty hospital or is this an outlier?

Or do I believe all these stories are staged theater?

If I happened to live in El Paso and drove to this hospital would I see total chaos? Or is this kind of thing apart of the public facing side of the hospital? I mean the morgue or morgue overflow is probably setup out of sight of the public.

Anyway the way it seems to me for now is mortality probably is going down for a variety of reasons. Maybe a significant amount of the most vulnerable have already died, but also over time our therapeutic treatments are getting better. I'm just concerned that high hospitalizations could overwhelm hospital capacity.

Also, I do not think all hospitals everywhere I like this. It seems to spike regionally while other locations maybe be fine or have low hospitalizations.

I was told all that BULL back in March.. They had a huge Military Buildup and Field Hospitals to show how serious it was..

NOT ONE patient was seen in those for show hospitals.

I was in 2 Hospitals that the media described as OVERWHELMED.

They were Ghost Town Empty,,but my wife did get excellent care from the Staff that remained,, as they were grateful of the work.

I Marched in Olympia with Nurses and Techs that wanted to go back to work,, Hospitals laid off staff due to lack of patients.

I deal in Reality.. though it usually sucks.

I also read the local Obits..

Most old folks are still dying at home.. Very few in Hospitals.

    *A NOTE FROM FREE BREATHERS:

    Hi friend of freedom!

FREE BREATHERS is one of the most prolific freedom activist groups in the state of Washington. We organize approximately 1-4 events per week in the form of maskless grocery and other shopping trips, events and now increasingly, protests.

If you are added to our personal phone list (growing daily at this point), a FREE BREATHERS lead will text you for every single event several times per week.

Once you are on our list, you can create your own event (set time / date / location) and tell us - invite your friends and we’ll invite ours! We typically have between 20-70 unmasked faces per event - and our networks are much larger than that. And as mentioned, we are growing by the day.

Nevertheless, since we are an intimate group - parents, grandparents and even children - we screen all members, either in-person or by personal referral before they make it onto our text list.

In a slightly different way, I probably do have some comments on even the previous cases of Flu. I have often thought it absurd how American work culture seems to want people showing up to work sick and spreading the sickness in the office only staying home once they have a high fever and/or throwing up. So yeah, maybe they should be home 'social distancing'.

My view depends on a lot of things though; the other side that we can't all be in hermetic isolation is also valid and hiding from germs probably has it's own consequences on the immune system.

Trying to come up with an analogy here, but we can consider Sunlight. To much you get sunburns or potentially skin cancer or even just look like you're aging prematurely, yet it's understood some Sunlight exposure is beneficial so avoiding Sunshine is also bad ( I think work culture is another issue here keeping so many indoors all the time. What if during Covid we're low on Vitamin D? )

it's not an all or nothing issue.

I have sometimes considered how other cultures respond to these things. Japan in particular has widely used masks for allergies, flu, and the common cold prior to Covid19. It looks like they are still experiencing a wide Covid19 infection case rate, but lower hospitalizations and deaths. I have wondered the masks are not 100% effective, but causing a lower viral load so they can more easily beat it. I think Japan also favors open air ventilation and less central air or heating ( I think this is the case in Germany to )

Anyway, to come back to the point, if masks or other measures were proposed for the Flu or especially a strenuous Flu epidemic straining hospital capacity regardless of the death rate, I would participate.

At the current rate, the "official" narrative and responses we're being led to by the likes of Gates and Fauci are simply too draconian and don't make much sense. Am I purposely trying to infect myself or others? Nope. But, I'm also not going to cower in fear or go out of my way to wear the muzzle of shame.

Make no mistake, the masks are about domination at this point. It's all about muzzling the stray dogs. Watch the numerous videos of the public shaming going on over those without masks. It's about force and using that force on others to abide by what the "greater good" demand. And it's a complete turn off for many of us...

This is about eradicating the "rugged American individualism." Fauci has made remarks about this being a problem, recently. Perhaps a freudian slip, or not.

Well, I've had to wear PPE in my job and didn't feel I was being unreasonably controlled or muzzled or something by my company or the customer site. I guess I don't get why people are so mad about mask wearing.

Texas National Guard to provide aid to El Paso morgues during COVID-19 crisis

The Texas National Guard will be providing help to El Paso morgues as the region continues to be slammed by COVID-19 deaths.

“After completing an assessment of the situation on the ground in El Paso County this week, the state has mobilized a team of 36 Texas National Guard personnel to provide mortuary affairs support beginning at 9 o’clock tomorrow (Saturday) morning,” Seth Christensen, spokesperson for the Texas Division of Emergency Management, said.

After the announcement El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego requested additional aid from Gov. Greg Abbott in the form of leeway to impose some restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Samaniego said in a letter to the governor's office that his previous order that was ended by an appellate court was done so erroneously and the order was not inconsistent with Abbott's statewide restrictions.

And the story I'm hearing of a death rate getting difficult to manage bringing in refrigerated tractor trailers for extra morgue space.

Now one issue with this video is it does not show signs of chaos or stressed out staff. It may be the way this story is covered just fails to get people concerned just watching some trucks backed up. It could be that inside the dock is concerned staff dealing with space issues and where to put bodies, but this video doesn't show overwhelmed nurse staff and piles of Covid bodies.

Possibly, journalists just can't realistically get in there without risk of infecting themselves and HIPAA privacy laws affect whether random video can be taken of hospital Covid wards.

Lol, I was in a hospital last time they ramped up like this as I previously stated. Turn off your tv and go to one of these places, you don't even have to go inside as I did. None of that $#@! is happening.
