Such a repulsive human being. You'll have many Democrats out there cheering it on like the little Marxists they are.

Am I supposed to care about deficits and debt again? That's even sooner than I thought it would be.

    Average Annual Deficit:

    Bush +$425 billion per year

    Obama +$950 billion per year

Trump +$1700 billion per year (with a couple months to go)

    Biden (TBD, but higher)

Trump was quite the "republican", don't you think? No president wants to be out-done by the prior, so Biden picks up where Trump The Big Spender left off.

No, go ahead. You know you want to say it, that Trump (R) spent more than TWICE what Obama (D) did. And also to look out, Biden was elected to "save" everybody.

This thread doesn't seem to be going as planned.

Hope and Unity is going to cost us 11T.

We're being governed ruled by a geriatric Alzheimer patient/puppet whose strings are being pulled by an elitist oligarchy who believe they can manage the world... imagine the utter maniacal, sociopathic hubris!

Some people kept saying that Trump was really a Democrat. Spending like a drunken sailor with her father's credit card fits the bill.

Every Republican President since Reagan was bad on the debt.

Plausible for Trump to match Obama's spending, but to DOUBLE it, the largest debt increase in the history of the world?

Trust me when I tell you, he is a NY Lib, funding public-private ventures.

I can not even imagine the favors that will be returned after he leaves office.

Trump's is too low there. Hell, the CAREs Act alone authorized up to $6.2 trillion of newly issued fiat debt. They blew right through that like a sailor at a titty bar.

The $1700 billion includes what's been borrowed so far this year.

You can check the treasury website to get the exact figures, but, from January 2017 to present, it's about $1700 billion/year on average.

It'll end up being more by this coming January, of course (though maybe not a lot more, not sure how Don will act as a lame duck).

    @Sammy :

Pretty strong words from a person who pretends to care about debt and spending but then makes mealy-mouthed excuses for Trump at every opportunity. Did pointing out the hypocrisy trigger you? Is this the best you can do?
