Not too long I reckon...this is debt that can never be paid back, ever, which leaves dissolution, default or war as the only way out.

    Possibly all three.

That's why I feel a vote for Trump is so important, in that it allows "us" (By us, I mean anybody to the right of Chairman Mao. That's ana-caps to neo-cons and everybody in between) a last chance at organizing and getting our heads out of our asses in enough time to maybe save ourselves.

Failure to gain that time or failure to put it to productive use, will mean that "us" will be exterminated.

All the "slicy bois" need to get going is another Robespierre to fire them up.

Not sure if due to MX's non-payment after 2016 rallies hit slogan "Mexico will pay for the Wall", surprisingly there have been no reports of "China will pay for corona damages" ($3T and counting?) at any of MAGA 2020 rallies.
Also have not heard any mention in MAGA speeches of trade war wins or sharply expanded trade deficit with China under Trump watch.
Two and two don't add up.

Poll is from controversial fakenews media outlet Foxnews, so exercise caution:

Biden leads Trump by 8 points nationally: poll

By Tal Axelrod - 10/30/20 08:13 PM EDT

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has an 8-point lead over President Trump nationally in a new Fox News poll released Friday.

Biden has the support of 52 percent of likely voters in the poll, while Trump trails at 44 percent. Two percent of likely voters say they’re backing a third-party candidate, and another 2 percent are undecided.
Biden’s 8-point lead is statistically insignificant from the 10-point advantage he enjoyed in the same poll earlier this month.

The former vice president has a net-positive favorability rating with likely voters, with 55 percent saying they have a favorable view of him and 43 percent saying they have a negative view. Meanwhile, Trump’s favorability rating is underwater, with just 44 percent of likely voters having a favorable view of him compared with 55 percent who have an unfavorable opinion.

Arizona voters have Covid-19 top of mind. That could spell trouble for Trump.

Biden holds a narrow lead, according to polls, aided by pandemic upheaval and demographic shifts years in the making. But don't count the president out yet, some said.

By Adam Edelman and Vaughn Hillyard

PHOENIX — Larry Vroom, a 79-year-old Republican who has voted for the GOP candidate in every presidential election of his life, says he will vote for Joe Biden this year because of President Donald Trump's response to the coronavirus.

“He’s not accepting responsibility,” said Vroom, who lives in Sun City, Arizona, outside Phoenix. “He doesn’t talk about the vulnerability of people in our age, 65 and older, group, even though he is part of that group,” he added.

Vroom’s thoughts underscore a major problem for Trump in Arizona, a battleground state that a Democratic presidential candidate hasn’t carried since Bill Clinton in 1996, where polling reveals voters overall have an unfavorable view of the president's handling of the crisis.

But Trump’s electoral problems aren’t limited to older people worried about the health ramifications of Covid-19. Conversations with voters, current and former lawmakers, strategists and politics-watchers in the state reveal he's lost major ground with suburbanites and women — two critical groups he would need to limit his losses with if he wants to carry the state. Radically shifting demographics in the state — particularly an influx of young people and a growing Latino population — are hurting his chances, too.

Another strongly worded statement about virus and warp speed vaccination plan:

Trump: Because of Operation Warp Speed, the “China virus vaccine is more than 90% effective.”

Overview of Pres. Trump’s speech: Operation Warp Speed, Covid-19 vaccine

“Who knows which administration it will be, I guess time will tell."

    by: Liz Chandler
    Nov 16, 2020

On Friday afternoon, President Trump made his first public comments since AP declared Joe Biden the president-elect. Trump spoke about Operation Warp Speed, the Covid-19 vaccine and more.

“The past nine months, my administration has initiated the single greatest mobilization in U.S. history: pioneering, developing and manufacturing therapies and vaccines in record time,” Trump said to open his speech.

Trump claimed that because of Operation Warp Speed, the “China virus vaccine is more than 90% effective.”

“This is five times faster than the fastest prior vaccine development in history,” he said.
Trump claimed that the vaccine will be free of charge and that three other vaccines are in the final stages of trial, arriving in a few weeks.

Frontline workers, the elderly and high-risk Americans will be treated first, claims Trump.

By distributing the vaccine to the elderly first, it will “allow seniors to reclaim their golden years,” he said. “We continue to spare no expense to protect the elderly and the vulnerable.”

“Over 99.98% of those under the age of 50 make a full and quick recovery,” he said.
As soon as April, the vaccine will be available to the general public, with the “exception of places like New York state” until they have “authorization to do so,” claims Trump.

“We can’t be delivering it to a state that won’t be giving it to its people immediately,” he said.

Trump claimed that the U.S. has the “lowest case fatality rates in the world”. He mentioned that critical investments in therapies have “helped reduce the mortality rate by 85%,” mentioning antiviral medication Remdesivir.
Trump said that every state that has requested PPE (personal protective equipment) from the federal government has received it. He went on to say that everyone who needs a ventilator has received one: “every single request has been immediately filled.” Trump claims that now, the U.S. is helping fill the need of ventilators across the world.
Trump also mentioned that the economy is doing well.
“Our economy is rebounding far beyond any expectations,” said Trump, claiming that the stock market is up almost 400 points.
Trump claimed that over 13 million jobs have been created in the last 6 months and that the unemployment rate has been slashed by more than half.
“This administration will not be going to a lockdown,” said Trump, mentioning that a lockdown would be a “terrible thing.”
Trump said that hopefully the future administration will not go into a lockdown.
“Who knows which administration it will be, I guess time will tell,” he said.
