• Tarrio posted a selfie of him and Donald Trump Jr. online with the caption: 'Blurry but at least we spoke about the rampant censorship of conservatives'.
• Tarrio is a Cuban American from Miami who was promoted from president of his city's Proud Boys chapter to become the group's national chairman in 2018

The leader of the Proud Boys, the 'white supremacist' group at the center of the presidential debate furor, is a state director of Latinos for Trump and ran for Congress as a Republican, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Donald Trump told the Proud Boys to 'stand back and stand by' after he was asked to denounce their alleged white supremacist views during the presidential debate Tuesday night.
Afterwards Trump's son and spokesman both tried to downplay the comment, calling it a 'misspeak'. The president backpedaled on Wednesday telling reporters he had never heard of the group.

But DailyMail.com can reveal the Proud Boys national chairman, Enrique Tarrio, is close to the Republican party, having been pictured with the president's son Don Jr. and currently serving as the Florida state director of the political support group Latinos for Trump.

On a related note, it's probably just coincidence that leaders of the most media famous "racist" pro-Trump groups in both US and UK happened to have been to our closest mideast democratic ally Israel and in reality are pretty pro diversity.

Twitter users take over Proud Boys hashtag with photos of LGBTQ love

Twitter users have reclaimed the Proud Boys hashtag with photos and tweets depicting LGBTQ love in an effort to divert attention from the controversial group. It's not clear whose idea it was, but the campaign is believed to have taken off thanks to a push from actor George Takei, who tweeted the idea October 1.

"What if gay guys took pictures of themselves making out with each other or doing very gay things, then tagged themselves with #ProudBoys. I bet it would mess them up real bad. #ReclaimingMyShine," Takei wrote.

Turning Point USA threw a party at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) last night advertised by emails featuring a “dabbing” astronaut and ending with the words “Dilly dilly.” It attracted a strange mix of pro-Trump personalities and a couple members of the Proud Boys, which the Southern Poverty Law Center classifies as a hate group.

The Daily Beast’s Will Sommer and Maxwell Tani report how Turning Point USA has emerged as a leading voice at this year’s CPAC despite the fact that it is “most famous for filming its members wearing diapers on a college campus.” Last night, TPUSA’s newly minted chief creative officer Benny Johnson—who previously worked at The Daily Caller—invited a swarm of college-age conservatives and their enthusiastic adult allies to gather in hopes of rubbing shoulders with the night’s VIPs: the president’s adult son Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, Rep. Dan Crenshaw, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Fox News executive turned White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications Bill Shine.
