Exclamation Netflix releases "Cuties" - 94 minutes of kiddie porn?

    ‘Cuties’ Review: Dull and Indefensible

    https://www.breitbart.com/entertainm...-indefensible/

    John Nolte 10 Sep 2020

The Netflix release Cuties is dull and morally indefensible, an appalling act of sexual exploitation of young girls. Actually, as you’ll read below, it’s even worse than that.

You can’t judge a movie by its content. It’s not about content. It’s about what the movie has to say about the content.

The Bible’s a good example. I’m no scholar but I’ve always assumed Herod’s stepdaughter, Salome, was underage. Maybe not 11. Closer to 14. I’m not alone. So it’s right there in the Bible. In the New Testament, no less. Young girl dancing sexy. Is that child porn? Are the movies that depict what’s now known as the Dance of the Seven Veils child porn? Course not. The dance is portrayed as obscene, as a sin so dark you can hardly believe you’re a member of the same species.

Salome’s mother sells her daughter’s sex to her own husband. Herod lusts after his own stepdaughter in front of his own wife. Salome is a symbol of innocence violated beyond repair. Motivating all of it, the cold-blooded murder of John the Baptist.

There’s nothing about the moment that is not revolting.

Before we get to Cuties, let me go a bit further…

Bully (2001), Kids (1995), L.I.E. (2001), Thirteen (2003). Tough movies. R-rated movies. What you call hard Rs. All about underage kids doing all sorts of terrible stuff. I will and have defended all four. Again, not about the content. About what the movie says about the content. No one, unless they’re already corrupted, walks away from those four movies thinking any of that is okay. All you want to do afterward is take a shower.

(I felt the same way after watching 8MM. - AF)

That’s why, initially, sight unseen, I defended Cuties. I did not defend Netflix’s appalling ad campaign, which was aimed directly at the naked-guys-in-a-raincoat-named Floyd crowd. For whatever reason, Netflix is big on sexually exploiting children. Barack and Michelle Obama and Susan Rice are getting rich(er) off all those Floyds.

Okay, I didn’t exactly “defend” Cuties. Gave it the benefit of the doubt. For all the reasons mentioned above.

Now I’ve seen it and can’t defend it.

Cuties is soft-core child pornography disguised as art. Nothing less. Nothing more.

Cuties does not tell Naked Floyd to be ashamed of himself. Naked Floyd’s going to love Cuties. That’s a problem. A big problem.

Cuties does not tell 11-year-old girls that twerking and sexualization sets you on a path of self-debasement, that it destroys your self-respect and the respect others might have for you — especially in the age of the Internet. That’s a bigger problem.

For our protagonist, 11-year-old Ami, twerking is the path to enlightenment and personal growth.

The movie’s director, Maïmouna Doucouré, says the film is a critique of the sexualization of children, specifically the Internet’s role in it.

    Bull$#@!.

The far-left fake news outlet, the New Yorker, accidentally told the truth about Cuties. But because the truth was off-message, the New Yorker deleted the tweet.

“Cuties, which has angered scandal-mongers on the right, is the story of a girl’s outrage at, and defiance of, a patriarchal order,” the New Yorker tweeted accurately.

Yep, that’s precisely what Cuties is.

Where the New Yorker screwed up, though, was in saying so out loud.

Hey, if we’re going to protect Barack Obama and Susan Rice, what we’re supposed to say is that Cuties is a damning indictment of the sexualization of children. What we are not supposed to say is that the children in Cuties are sexualized to stick it to The Man. So the New Yorker deleted the tweet and the truth.

Fact: Cuties is not an indictment of the sexualization of children. Cuties sexualizes children, and not in some baby-doll Jon Benet way.

Naked Floyd holds the camera, and Naked Floyd can never get enough of prepubescent butts in tight jeans and short-shorts. Countless close-up of 11-year-old butts in tight pants. Bending, shaking, dry-humping. You won’t believe it.

What’s ironic is that if the girls were of age, Cuties’ defenders would be outraged over these close-ups, outraged over the camera’s “male gaze.”

But since Cuties is telling 11-year-old girls the path to enlightenment and growth is through humping the floor in a pair of Daisy Dukes, the “male gaze” is okay.

You see, corrupting little girls is woke, while guys enjoying a gander at a woman of legal age is the hideous patriarchy at work. Those are the rules now.

Believe it or not, Naked Floyd also digs crotch shots. No $#@!, 11-year-old characters in short-shorts and bikini bottoms, legs wide open punctuated with a come-hither look. Not one crotch shot. Not two. Not five. Lost count after five. Still can’t believe it.

Ami’s fighting the patriarchy, you see. Her hideous Muslim father has taken a second wife and he’s bringing her home to share a bed with Ami’s mom. Ami’s mom pretends to be okay with it. Ami’s Great Aunt orders everyone to accept tradition. The old biddy even makes Ami cook the wedding feast. Poor little girl cuts a big pile of onions. In case you miss the symbolism, there are tears. Lots of tears.

Even her bratty little brother oppresses Ami.

Ami’s oppressed mom drags poor Ami to a Muslim school that teaches women how to be obedient to their husbands, to men in general.

When Sex and the City 2 criticized Islam’s oppression of women, the same critical class gushing over Cuties blasted Sex and the City 2 as Islamophobic. But Carrie and Miranda and Charlotte and Samantha are of age, so that’s the moral difference.

    How bent is Cuties?

Well, after Ami strips naked, spreads her legs wide, takes a photo, and publishes it on social media (thankfully we see nothing graphic), she’s slut-shamed. In case you don’t get the point, some bratty little boy actually calls her a “slut” — like three times.

    **SPOILER ALERT**

In the end, Ami decides to stop twerking. Has a bit of a breakdown. Felt contrived. Like the movie figured it had better pull out of the child exploitation gutter at the very end. Look! Now it’s art!

Doesn’t matter, because at the end, thanks to all the sex stuff, all the butt-shaking and crotch shots, Ami is liberated, independent, and better off.

Twerking saved her from the patriarchy.

So this isn’t Salome dancing for Herod. This is a movie that says twerking at age 11 is the path to growth, to enlightenment, to liberation. This is also a movie that says you can walk away from it clean, even after publishing naked photos of yourself. It’s all good, ladies.

    And that’s indefensible.

    ***END SPOILER***

The movie’s biggest moral flaw is that it refuses to provide Ami an alternative between doormat and twerker.

The movie’s not set in some third-world hellhole. Ami lives in Paris — as in Paris, France. You’re trying to tell me a female teacher or lawyer or small business-owner couldn’t represent a third way?

Other than being extremely uncomfortable to watch, Cuties is dull. A loooong 94 minutes. There’s just not enough plot, and the characters, especially the four central girls, aren’t all that interesting.

    I need a shower.

Yes, it is promoting and making film like this seem normal. Once called out, Netflix apologized, but then defended the filmmakers for making content like this, basically not apologizing at all.

There will be many more working titles like this in the coming years on nearly all major streaming platforms.

Best part is, Obama and Susan Rice have been helping the direction at Netflix and this is part of that end result. Further confirming these are not savory people that share the same values as us. And they are trying their best to bring down others morality down to the level that they are currently residing at. That's the plan and people are noticing and this is a perfect example of how transparent their sickness is.

Stranger Things Creator Under Fire for Forcing Teen Actors to Kiss

While the kiss between Eleven and Mike during the Hawkins Middle School Snow Ball on the last episode of Stranger Things, season two, is probably still drilled in your mind, Max and Lucas also shared a significant smooch in the same ep. There’s now a lot of controversy surrounding the latter peck because series creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer admitted that they basically forced the 15-year-old actress to do it, even though she was openly uncomfortable.

Probably a Trump tweet about Netflix coming by this weekend, he has great insight into media power games as shown by his successful tweet attacks on CNN and other news media outlets.

If Trump supporters joined above cited boycott, that would be a game changer (when Trump supporters and BLM/Rocky A$AP supporters came together to boycott Swedish brands few months ago, it immediately produced great results).

The moral decay. I have been saying that LGBTQ+ would allow pedophilia in the discussion. Slippery slope in action. It sounded good "leave it in the bedroom, none of my business". Reality was it wasnt good enough. This degeneracy is not good for a society. I understand the whole freedom argument but pedophilia will always be the end result

I wonder if as a society we are willing to give up on due process and privacy to fight child porno? This is going to be an issue for me, I really hate child porn but at the same time like my privacy and the idea of innocent until proven guilty.

When the pitchforks and pearl clutching get to a fever pitch, you can bet there is some hyperbole going on. It's another case of the innuendo and imagination being far worse than the reality. "That candidate for Supreme Court is so bad, we can't even tell you what they did! Let's just say that it was evil beyond belief, involving children!"

So this is like one of those out of context video clips, where there is outrage without knowing all the facts. Most people have seen a promo picture for this movie, and that's it.

First of all, one thing that never seems to be mentioned is the reason for the name of the movie. These idiot kids are a dancing group that calls themselves "The Cuties".

The Netflix release Cuties is dull
Yes. Dull, boring, like a million different simple dramas like this.

You can’t judge a movie by its content. It’s not about content.
What? It's not about the content? What's it about then? How people interpret the content? A Rorschach test?

It’s about what the movie has to say about the content.
So it's about the moral of the story at the end? So if it was "soft-core child porn", it would be all good if there is a moral to the story at the end?

Cuties is soft-core child pornography disguised as art. Nothing less. Nothing more.
SMDH. Hyperbole much? It is not pornography in any sense of the word. It's a bad movie based upon a story by a Muslim woman. Is there inappropriate sexual innuendo and filming? Yes. Like you can see in a billion Tik-tok or Youtube videos or the Disney channel or just about anything that Hollywood puts out.

Specifically, the dance group makes their own "promo" video, emulating every hip-hop video ever made. They look stupid doing it, as they are pre-teen, and one could say that the movie itself did not need to emulate the shooting style so closely. It would make no difference in the movie. One of the main plot points of the movie is that the girl steals a cell phone, which opens up the whole world of the internet for them to copy and emulate, mostly hip-hop videos and other dance group videos.

Next up, there is a totally out of context part where they all try to look sexy by putting a finger on the edge of their mouth. Kind of that standard modeling pose. Now that is where the creepy radar went off. It was a very short clip (15 seconds out of the movie?), and out of context. Is this some kind of perv dog whistle? Did one of the guys making the movie insert that for their own gratification? It was completely superfluous to the movie. But once again, this is a common pose, and one has to read something into the mind of the viewer to make it a pervy thing.

This is basically the pose we are talking about:

Is that "porn"? No. Unnecessary and inappropriate in this movie would be a better description.

The final dance contest is where the controversy lies. They are in their costumes, and it is filmed like a hip-hop dance video. The audience reacts as if it is inappropriate, so from a film story telling perspective, that was the point. Is it "porn"? No. Is it inappropriate? Yes. Does it sexualize pre-teens? Yes. (Is it stupid? Yes.) Once again though, the outrage seems to be that "some pedophile pervert will probably like that, so it's porn to them!"

Well, after Ami strips naked, spreads her legs wide, takes a photo, and publishes it on social media (thankfully we see nothing graphic), she’s slut-shamed. In case you don’t get the point, some bratty little boy actually calls her a “slut” — like three times.
Bad storytelling, which is rampant in Hollywood these days. My pet peeve is that plots and characters in almost everything anymore does not make any sense. No logic, no continuity of characters. She seemed to do this for no reason. But perhaps was intended to show that she went too far, and provided a plot reason for her to be kicked out of the dance group. The consequence of a bad action.

So that is the controversy. The vast majority of the movie is boring, standard pre-teen drama. She goes to a new school, there are mean girls, then she gets to know them and joins their dance group. Her father, who is never seen in the movie, is taking a second wife, so the mother is upset and the girl is upset. The gist of the story is a Muslim girl with daddy issues who acts out.

It's a simple, shallow movie, without a lot of the "messages" and plot that everyone seems to be reading into it. It's a Rorschach movie for people to insert their own interpretations other than the surface level story.

And no, I don't agree with the reviewer that if it does have a strong moral to the story at the end, that makes it all good. If it really was "soft-core child pornography", than it should be banned. But it was not that. And the censorship implications are something that a libertarian might be concerned about. What is child porn and where is the line? Who will be the Judge who says "I'll know it when I see it"? Does it help to focus on a movie like this when there is real, no question about it, child porn out there?

If it is simply someone under 18, nude, and the scene is about sex (without actual sex), does that make it soft-core porn? Maybe, but if it is, say goodbye to "The Godfather". It had that. Along with a huge number of movies going back as long as movies have been made. There is always a new controversy or one that tries to cross the line. "Pretty Baby" was the most egregious example. It was critically acclaimed and won an award at the 1978 Cannes Film Festival. Could those movies have been edited to remove the nudity? Probably. Should they have been forced to?

    It's not child porn.

It is an advertisement for high powered people to find contacts to get access to child slaves and child porn.

Just like Hollywood has been for decades. Who was that 11 year old in playboy? Was it Brooke Shields? Yeah. Nobody can convince me Brooke wasn't getting sold around the world after her 11 year old nude playboy shoot. Kids for Sale! Kids for sale! Who wants Cory Haim's tight little brown hole? We'll throw in Feldman for half-price!

Funnily, this movie comes from the same country that had a "weird obsession" with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Hollywood trembles and screeches like the demons they are because they are afraid of their little secret being exposed, and prosecuted. Hollywood, Vatican, British Royal Family, Arab Trade Cities, Foster Homes and Orphanages, Jewish and Euro Billionaire banker clubs, all in the market for very young.

This video brings up a huge aspect of this controversy. It is now a public (witch?) trial. And we have lawyers giving their opinions. This lawyer admits that he didn't watch the movie. Interesting take from a lawyer. "I am outraged, I will not look at the evidence, but let me give a verdict anyway". It should be noted that the truly inappropriate dance scenes are a very small part of the movie, but that is what is being shared.

And once again, without watching the movie, he is going based upon other people's reports of what is in the movie on the issue of the "naked" breast. To be clear, the person who shows her breast is not one of the girls in the group. They are watching a dance video from the internet on their phone, and at the end, one of the dancers in the video flashes her breast. There is no information in the movie as to what the age of that person was, but she looked to be much older. Considering the law, she was probably 18 or older.

As to the effect of this movie on the actors, is Hollywood safe for any child, in any kind of movie? There are far too many stories about children being abused in the Hollywood sphere. It could be the most wholesome movie in the world, but what happens in the back rooms?

Brooke Shields seems to have been protected from all of that by her mother, so she has no regrets. Will the kids in these movies be negatively effected? Probably depends upon what happened off screen. Actors (or stage parents) want fame, so a controversial role is usually all good in their eyes.

And while this stupid film has generated more than it's share of controversy and hysteria, will it lead to any questions at all about our Kardashian/Cardi B stripper porn star culture that puts this up as role models for kids?

Ignore the Grammy's to investigate a stupid French film that more than anything was put out there to troll conservatives? Continue to ignore Netflix shows like "13 Reasons Why" which glorify suicide, and have led to many teenage suicides? Who sets the priorities anymore?

Several years ago I got a free trial for netflix I surfed around on it but, I could not find even one thing that interested me. I canceled it the next day. To me the programing was just gross and evil. I don't see how anyone could keep watching it.
