    Talking Nice Tea mixes to celebrate tonight.

    Bengal Tiger Tea:
    4 oz cold tea
    1 tsp lemon juice
    2 dashes aromatic bitters
    1 tsp sugar syrup (see below for recipe)
    1 1/2 oz cognac
    PREPARATION:
    Mix ingredients and serve over ice, with a lemon slice.


    Chai Naya:
    2 cups vodka (Russian is best)
    6 tsp loose black tea (fruit flavored is traditional)
    Glass bottles or jars with lids
    PREPARATION:
    Mix vodka and tea leaves in a jar, and shake a couple of times to combine. Place in a cool, dark place to sit for 24 hours. Strain out the tea leaves by pouring through a strainer into a second jar. Store in the freezer, and serve ice cold.


    Southern Kick:
    1/2 oz whiskey
    1/2 oz Southern Comfort
    Iced tea
    PREPARATION:
    Mix whiskey and Southern Comfort in a glass, and top off with iced tea. Serve over ice.


    Spiced Rum Iced Tea:
    5 oz iced tea
    1 1/4 oz spiced rum
    1/2 tsp lemon juice
    PREPARATION:
    Combine iced tea, rum and lemon juice. Serve over ice in a highball glass.


    Tea Spike
    1 1/2 oz white rum
    1/2 oz dark creme de cacao
    4 oz iced tea
    PREPARATION:
    Mix ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and serve in a high ball glass.

    Wow, I don't have the ingredients handy. Anyone want to stop by and bring me some tea? I'm stuck at home with a sleeping child.

    Nothing fancy, just the classic one-drink alcohol binge:

    1 jigger each vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and triple sec
    1 1/2 jiggers sour mix
    Cola to top off the glass

    Gosh why didn't I think to throw a tea party tonight too?

    I did just drink some tea though, green tea!

    Maybe its me, but I think you should be dumping that tea down the drain. Drink tea another day.

    I brewed green tea and added a teaspoon of honey. It was very tasty!
