If this is truly accurate about Nov 1 then it's confirmation that they've had the vaccines all lined up and ready to go this entire time. No way would the infrastructure be put in place to develop, manufacture, package, securely and freshly store, transport and effectively distribute that many vaccines in the course of just a few months. As always, the solution is developed and ready for roll-out before the problem has been created.

Dunno how accurate but rumors of UK lockdown starting around end of first week of Oct, then progressing to the rest of the EU and the US very soon after. Parts of Australia (Victoria) already locked down again. That ongoing lockdown looks like a test, imo.
