What else would you expect from the NRA?

After all, it is the nation's largest gun control organization.

I care not what the NRA thinks, due to all the gun control they've supported throughout the years.

Stop all support for the NRA, bleed them dry. They are apart of the entire corrupt system to give gun carriers the illusion that they have your back, but are nowhere to be seen when it truly matters. They don't care about you, your rights, or the 2nd amendment, never did, never will. There are plenty of alternatives out there.

    Beat me to it.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

I don't know this for sure, though the history says it's very possible (founded in NYC in 1871, same year .gov was incorporated as a corporation via the Act of 1871), but I think the NRA was actually started by the opposition to 2A (British bankers), as a way to control the gun ownership narrative in the country after the Civil War (which the British bankers were behind). This would explain why the NRA has generally been ineffective at maintaining the intent of 2A and has always been a compromise lobby.

They have never yet and they never will have the sense to reflect that this hobby-horse is a manifest violation of the most important law of nature, which has established from the very creation of the world one unit unlike another and precisely for the purpose of instituting individuality."- A Quote From Some Old Book
